We LOVED this restaurant. Didn't know it existed and super happy with it. Was very loud inside but speaks to the energy of the restaurant. For those with noise sensitivity bear in mind if sitting indoors.

We love LOCAL and go often. We were surprised of the change of menu and missed the fabulous frites ( those this visit were too thick, less crispy) and a few other dishes ( homemade pasta in particular) that we so enjoy. Great service at the bar. The new bar server, young woman, was really attentive!

Local and our server Garrett were amazing! We had a large group of 14 people on a holiday weekend. We were a rather lively crowd and arrived after a scavenger hunt. They informed me ahead of time that if I knew our order in advance I could give it to the server and it would be fast. And it was! We had a lot of lite bites and drinks served within minutes. Perfect place for our group.

Seating inside was noisy. There aren't a lot of tables inside and doors were open but it was still pretty loud. Acoustics could be improved Quieter outside than in. Otherwise food and service were very good.

Had lunch at Local in Montecito a couple of Sundays ago, and wow—what an upgrade! It looks like they have a new chef, and the menu changes are above and beyond. Every new dish I tried was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. You can really taste the difference in quality and creativity.
On top of that, the ambiance is fantastic—warm, inviting, and the perfect spot for a relaxed yet elevated dining experience.
Highly recommend checking out the new menu. This place was already great, but now it’s on a whole new level! Can’t wait to come back.

Exellent restaurant, went 6 times with family French
Had dinner here with 6 people for family. Outside on heated patio. We brought our dog. It was great! Loved the food, came out fast, good portions, good value for money, nice and attentive staff. We would happily go back! Also the fact that it’s almost entirely gluten-free was a big benefit for our group. We like it all, especially the crab cakes, chicken Milanese, and branzino.

He provided valuable recommendations and infused his unique flair into the cocktails. We highly recommend visiting the Local. The atmosphere is exceptional, and the service is truly remarkable.
