Had lunch at Local in Montecito a couple of Sundays ago, and wow—what an upgrade! It looks like they have a new chef, and the menu changes are above and beyond. Every new dish I tried was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. You can really taste the difference in quality and creativity.
On top of that, the ambiance is fantastic—warm, inviting, and the perfect spot for a relaxed yet elevated dining experience.
Highly recommend checking out the new menu. This place was already great, but now it’s on a whole new level! Can’t wait to come back.

Had dinner here with 6 people for family. Outside on heated patio. We brought our dog. It was great! Loved the food, came out fast, good portions, good value for money, nice and attentive staff. We would happily go back! Also the fact that it’s almost entirely gluten-free was a big benefit for our group. We like it all, especially the crab cakes, chicken Milanese, and branzino.

On Saturday evening, Anthony served as our bartender. Although we only had a few drinks, Anthony’s exceptional service made our experience memorable. He provided valuable recommendations and infused his unique flair into the cocktails. We highly recommend visiting the Local. The atmosphere is exceptional, and the service is truly remarkable.

What a disappointment. I’ve been coming here since it’s opening. Watching the menu shrink and the prices explode has been disappointing. Tonight, one drink and fish tacos, $50. Fish tacos are $27, with no sides at all. So $9.00/taco for average fish tacos.
It’s my last time here (I may come for happy hour.)
I guess I’m just too poor to sit next to a parking lot and drink well $20 drinks…

Always a great choice! They over-perform every time. We took a party of six on a Saturday night and it was truly perfection. And they have the best servers and wait~ staff. (And polite Managenent!) Thank you!

Our party of 6 adults and 2 children had a really nice meal here last night. All the food we had was delicious and perfectly cooked. Our server, Benom, was helpful and friendly. We all agreed we'd had a lovely time.
After dining at Local about five times now, we have never been disappointed. Delicious flavors, nice portions, lovely atmosphere, and the service is always good. I recommend Local id you haven't tried it.

Our first time at Local. Nice venue with plenty of outdoor seating. Great menu including huge lobster rolls and delicious ribs. We had our 4 month old grandson with us and we were able to stroller right to our table! Very accommodating and helpful. Great service and pacing, too. We will return for certain.

We found this restaurant via yelp. With not many views, we are not sure if our choice is right. But after we arrive there and celebrate my husband's birthday, we find it is a surprise to be terrific. The waiters are always caring of us. Our family enjoyed a great night there. We will definitely revisit.

LOCAL is AMAZING! This was our first time and this will now become a regular for us when we are in the area. Joe's service was outstanding and the ambiance of the restaurant is awesome!
