Tons of options, and everything is super fresh, seasonal and prepared with exquisite care!On this trip, I had the gluten-free Chicken Milanese and it was divine! Two huge cutlets served with lightly dressed arugula and blistered tomatoes!My partner (not gluten sensitive) got to indulge in the seven hour lamb Bolognese! I tasted the sauce and it was magic but when I asked the waiter if they had a gluten-free pasta option, he said unfortunately not. Too bad that this dish can’t be made to accommodate us gluten sensitive customers… As I would be sure to order this in the future but for now I have to pass. But if you are not gluten, sensitive, my partner, highly recommends ordering this!We also started our meal with a beautiful beet salad… The waiter asked if we’d like the chef to prepare the salad on two separate plates, making it easier to enjoy and thought, how wonderful so we said sure! But when the check arrived, there was a $5.00 surcharge for that. Not complaining here, but just want you to be prepared in case it’s not something you would find of value for you and your dining partner.Oh, and be sure to save room for the apple fritters on their dessert menu. Yes, these are gluten-free!! These are some of the best apple fritters I’ve ever had and I’ve had everything from gluten filled to gluten-free and these, by far, are the best!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options!

Say at the bar, by choice and though it's a bit loud, we enjoy a bar stool When just the 2 of us. The bartenders were busy though did fairly well attending to our needs. Our dishes , pasta and chicken were very good. Glad to be able to get a seat in a Friday night!

What a wonderful place for dinner. Very relaxed and open dining area. The food was amazing. Using salsa macha on the ahi crudo is brilliant. And the special duck confit ravioli is an original dish I will use to compare future restaurants by.

It’s 12 degrees outside (53 F) and they have the whole side of the restaurant open. We sat in our jackets in the restaurant and were still uncomfortably cold. The staff wouldn’t do anything about it. So after driving an hour and a half to eat there we just walked out.

New menu is even better than the previous terrific one. There were four of us. We all selected different entrees and all commented on how delicious everything is. Calamari appetizer was super. Fritter dessert was outstanding.

Each visit to LOCAL is a great experience. We had such a wonderful server and the food was great, as usual. I was glad we reserved an indoor table, considering the storms were soon approaching. The noise level inside is pretty intense (lots of very lively guests at the few tables nearby) but we did well and were still able to hear each other. Toward the end of the meal our server found out two of us were celebrating our birthdays and brought us 2 of the most delicious sundaes to share with the group....SO sweet! Local does everything right! Ambience and decor are cozy but classy. Service is excellent. The entree, dessert, and wine I tried were all delicious but where Local really shines is in its appetizers and cocktails. Portions are perfect sizes for trying several things and there is tremendous attention to detail both in flavors and presentation. I hope to go back often.

Had a wonderful meal at LOCAL Montecito. The ambiance is relaxing and food was wonderful. Shrimp cocktail was delicious and the Branzino was amazing. Great wine list. Especially appreciated all the gluten free choices since my husband has celiac disease. One of the best meals we've had in the Santa Barbara area.
