I LOVE the vibe and food and cozy and warm feeling of this place. A special place to eat good food and feel good.
Enjoyed the busy vibe and floor plan. Great wagyu meatloaf and anniversary sundae gift from Lucky's. Great service and attention by management when we were too cold (turned off ac and brought a blanket)
Still the best restaurant in Montecito. Steaks are as perfected as you can get anywhere. Since Stone House raised prices 30% (or more...to discourage nonresidents?), it's a no-brainer.
Lucky's is as advertised. Outstanding in every way. Food, service, cocktails, wine list. Over the top.
We head to Lucky's every time we are in Montecito, it is our go to place. But as with all restaurants, so much of your own enjoyment depends on the behavior of strangers. Our drinks were delightful, the food was delicious, but the nearby table of loud tech bros braying about their lives was hard to tune out. So yes, it can be noisy inside.
Dining at Lucky's was an amazing experience. The food was absolutely spectacular, including the Sand Dabs that I had. I can't remember having any that were better. My wife's fillet with the mushroom sauce had her attention with smiles given the flavor she experienced with 7 ounces of grass-fed beef. Overall, we're so happy we choose Lucky's to visit.
Food was good but the price was completely out of line with the quality. I would expect that if I'm paying almost Michelin level prices that the food would be on the same level. The restaurant was also rather unkempt. The corner we were in was dusty, walls were stained, and our table cloth had dark stains on it. Food value is very bad. Costs are too high for the quality received. Also ordered a margarita and it was not good. Very unbalanced, too much liquor, and tasted like it was just basic store bought sweet and sour and tequila - for 22 dollars I expect better.
This place is classic Our server, Rudy was just perfect The food is outstanding and honestly, there is so much to choose from. Great experience, thank you
We came with our whole immediate family, a table for 10 this time, and we were happy with absolutely everything, as usual. Our favorite server Brenda and her team took excellent care of us. My husband and I shared the American Wagyu Tomahawk, perfectly prepared, with all the fixings and fantastic cocktails!
We had great service starting with making our reservation. Jennifer was so helpful in helping us get an earlier reservation! Fun vibe and great table service. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Great special occasion spot. Highly recommend.

It was our first time at Lucky's and we're so glad we went. My husband had the salmon and a baked potato, I had the filet and mac/cheese. Desert was coconut cake and affogato. The meal was top notch all the way! Karen provided excellent service, and we can't wait to return when we are in the area.
Had higher expectations. The service is great but The food is underwhelming partly due to the kitchen not being very organized. my daughters chicken was raw so it was sent back, I they just recooked the same piece and it was dry after that she didn't eat it. My husband steak tasted like a cheap cut, maybe we didn't order the right food. Service and ambiance was great, just food doesn't match the price.
Food was just wonderful... city is amazing.. would recommend the grilled chicken club for brunch yumm
Today I took my daughter to lunch for her birthday. The staff was great, attentive, and polite. The food as usual was great and it made our time together on her special day wonderful.
We have had dinner here several times. This was not the best. The steaks have always been good but tried the stroganoff. It was just okay. I would call it more of a reconstructive version. It was more of a filet beef and mushrooms in a brown sauce with a pile of noodles with sour cream in the middle. Not the traditional stroganoff I am used too. Just didn't have alot of flavor, tender but not rich and flavorful. My wife had the New York with the half and half fries and onion rings. Steak was great but fries and rings were just warm. Overall disappointing for a restaurant we normally enjoy.
