A beachfront gem in Montecito, this property is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I absolutely loved the garden cottage and the warm, friendly welcome from the staff—they truly make you feel like you’ve arrived at a special place, and it is!
The spectacular grounds are impeccably maintained and magical, featuring ponds, fountains, and vibrant flowers that create an enchanting atmosphere. The pools are fantastic, and you can enjoy food, drinks, and exceptional beach service.
We indulged in the Omakase experience at AMA with Chef Scott, featuring fresh fish flown in from Japan—an absolute must! We also had an incredible Michelin-starred dining experience at Caruso, where every dish was perfectly balanced, beautifully presented like art, and complemented by stunning ocean views. You’ll thank me for trying it!
This resort truly has it all. While I didn’t have time to visit the spa, it’s high on my list for my next trip—and I will definitely be returning soon!

Stunning, impeccable property. Room was truly perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay once we were checked in. Unfortunately, our room was not ready until over an hour past guaranteed check-in time-which cast an initial negative impression- very frustrating and not expected for this level of property. There was a wedding which took over the entire lobby which made for an even more annoying arrival and long wait for our room. Thankfully, the room was beautiful, service was great and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Rooms: Very big and Luxurious. The lighting is hard to control though and doesn’t allow you to dim things low. Very bright.
Walkability: Walking around the property is gorgeous but don’t roll your bags cuz the stone work is hard to move luggage on.
Food and drinks: Food was pretty disappointing. Late catering often and cold dry protein and very smelly fish.

Incredible stay. Service was excellent, rooms are immaculate… such a special place.
Property is beautiful, the pool was very nice, room was huge and beautiful.
Only issues were that when I made coffee using the complimentary machine in the room, I discovered that the cups hadn't been properly rinsed and so the coffee tasted like dish soap. Also, when I tried to use the beautiful bathtub, I discovered that the water would only come out lukewarm. At a normal hotel, these wouldn't be any real problem, but when a hotel is charging this much per night, it really feels like stuff like that shouldn't be overlooked. Needs a little more attention to detail.
Edit: Updating because of another, more serious, problem. The rate I paid included a $90 credit for breakfast. I asked for my bill at checkout to make sure it was applied, and they told me it would be emailed to me, which it wasn't. Finally I reached out and got the bill, only to find that sure enough the credit hadn't been applied and they had to refund me the overcharge. Again, at this price per night, it just feels like the management of the hotel is not paying nearly enough attention to basic details
