I went to this place for a weekend vacation with my daughter, but it was a complete frustration . They take forever to give us the room it was more than 4 hours' wait. I think it was a misunderstanding since the beginning. When finally we got the room, I found out the duvet cover had a stain, and we didn't know if the change was the betting or they were rushing to fix the room . We tried to be understanding, but it was too much for 1 day. Because of all these issues, they offered us a late checkout , which was a 3pm, but the luck our room at 1 pm . I was completely upset. To finish our day, we had the cherry of the cake when the valet brought us a different car. For us, it was enough .These trip it was mother and daughter weekend vacations.( While our stay at this hotel, we try to enjoy as much we can and forget all these issues ). Don't take me wrong, the hotel is beautiful ( but we didn't expect this kind of adventure )The stuff was very nice and respectful to please us after all these mistakes .Rooms: The rooms are great and niceNearby activities: Downtown Montecito shops wonderfulSafety: We are safe doing this tripFood & drinks: Food is delicious but a bit expensive

Oceanfront Oasis no doubt. While I didn't experience a stay at the Rosewood Miramar, a recent visit for drinks and lunch left me thoroughly impressed. This isn't your average beachfront venue; it exudes an air of sophisticated luxury. Yes, the price reflects the exclusivity, but the panoramic Pacific Ocean vistas are priceless.

I recently got married at the Rosewood and couldn't be happier with my experience. The event planner, Andrea, was so amazing to work with. She was very attentive and quick to respond to my questions. We booked a room for our wedding day to use to get ready and it was beautiful. It made the experience that much better. The staff was extremely friendly and always helpful. Getting married here was an absolute dream.

My husband and I had the loveliest time celebrating our babymoon at Rosewood Miramar Beach! The hotel is beautifully designed and immaculately landscaped. We enjoyed spending the day in Montecito (which was easy to get to with the hotel's car service) and spending the sunsets on the beach which is accessible from the hotel. All of the staff was amazing at taking care of us during our stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

A beautiful dog friendly property with so many amenities. Although I’ve yet to stay over I have attended several of their events and dined at three of their restaurants. Every meal was incredible! The beach bar is a great casual spot to have a drink and watch the sunset. All of the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I will go back every chance I get.

Rick Fidel, the Managing Director, has been harassing my Fiancé since we moved down the block from the resort a few months ago. He found out where we live because they send out postcards to the neighbors every new year and I assume get a list of the residents at each address or maybe he just saw my fiancés car in the driveway. On New Years Eve, Rick sent my fiancé and invitation to the HIS big new years bash, even sent a white Cadillac to pick her up unannounced. After my fiancé declined, Rick drunken and high on mushrooms showed up to my house trying to pick a fight. By the way Rick, I have cameras. Since then, Rick has been stalking us about once every two weeks, offering my fiancé cheap gifts and free meals at the Rosewood, it’s made her scared and uncomfortable because she doesn’t even know him at all. Poor and unprofessional behavior, it’s a really bad look for such a nice establishment. Get that guy out of there he’s ruining the staff and the entire vibe, they can’t keep a bartender for a week. I get that he’s buddies with Rick Caruso but how egotistical it makes him is just insanity, you’re not powerful bc you’re carusos brown nosed dude… anyways short of filing a police report there’s this… wake up Caruso you got a mole

It's a beautiful hotel with amazing close access to miramar beach, butterfly beach, and Summerland. Having grown up a local of Montecito a small community and having a father respected in the community in Santa Barbara. I had seen the transformation the Rosewood having nothing on the property last time I was in town. I had many friends houses, or the san ysidro ranch, as well as the Ritz Calrton formerly the Bacara, or the El Encanto to stay at. I will never be doing it again although the staff and rooms were beautiful. The management team was disrespectful, acted entitled, and created an environment where a local wouldn't dream of ever staying here again. After choosing to stay with them for a special occasion, we had a flooded bathroom that was un-usable, double charged gratuity and did nothing about it. The day before I arrived with my wife to this hotel I had a Prada shirt get damaged after specifically asking for dry cleaning, and jewelry was missing. We booked a massage got to the spa and did not have it available. For all of these problems they offered a $45 compensation for every thing and would not pay the value of my luxury items but for the laundry expense and zero compensation for the jewelry or my wives luxury heirloom make up nor her damaged Louis Vuitton make up bag. It took me weeks to get anyone to respond. Being a local of Santa Barbara/Montecito this would be the absolute last place I would stay the Motel off of east beach would've been a better stay.

Fabulous resort. Great food, comfortable, spacious rooms. Service is impeccable without being pretentious which we loved. The fitness studio is one of the best I've seen in a resort outside of Las Vegas. Location isn't great. The resort is between a highway and the railroad tracks. You can't walk anywhere. You'll have to take an Uber/Lyft or drive.Walkability: Can't walk anywhere.Food & drinks: High quality, a bit overpriced for what you get.
