I love San Ysidro Ranch and dine there with family & friends 4-5 times per year. It has always been a stellar experience but last night they did not hit the mark. The food which is normally delicious lacked flavor; specially the sauces and dressings. The peaches used in the salad were not ripe and should not have been used. The service was good but our server seemed slightly overwhelmed by the busy crowd. Our party was seated in a high traffic area near the server's station which also distracted from our dining experience as the servers congregated there and their conversations caught our attention several times. We did ask to be seated in a different area but were told no other tables were available. I do want to commend the server who brought water & bread baskets to our table- she was attentive and on it! The kind gentleman at the gatehouse is always a pleasure to speak with during check in, and of course the grounds of San Ysidro were stunning as usual! Would I return again? Maybe for a glass of wine and appetizer, but based on this dining experience, I will most likely dine at one of the other many amazing restaurants In Santa Barbara.
We love the Stonehouse unfortunately last night was not good. Although the appetizers were excellent our dinner was not. What ever you do , don't order the Wiener schnitzel. Bland, awful, dill cucumber sauce missing, warm potato salad just mediocre . Just not a dish that should be on the menu!
We had a very special lunch. The service was excellent. The food was delicious and the ambience at the ranch is absolutely beautiful. It's expensive but well worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The setting of San Ysidro Ranch is stunning, especially in daylight so all the beautiful rose bushes can be seen. But the pricing was way out of line. A perfectly ordinary salad with chicken was over $40.00. Meh spritzer was nearly $30.00. Service was annoyingly fawning. The waitress must have said "Happy Anniversary" four times! But unlike many other restaurants we've been to for special occasions, no complementary dessert. NOT worth it!!
Celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary and it could not have been more magical at the Stonehouse!! Favorite place anywhere!!
I celebrated my birthday here recently and I could not have imagined a more perfect evening. Everything about Stonehouse was out of a dream - the property, the ambiance, the service, and the food. Will be returning 100%
It was our first time and they made it very much enjoyable, service was amazing, food was so GOOD, and it was just a beautiful restaurant itself with a lovely garden to walk and take pictures after. If you ever go to Santa Barbara this place is a must!
The management needs a lot of work. Getting seated at a table took forever. Requests were not adhered to and a lot of excuses in lieu of customer service. The food was good, but very expensive. I am not certain that it is worth it, except the setting is so beautiful.
Had a wonderful dinner the tuna tartar and steak Diane were delicious. All the staff were amazing can't wait to come back!
Overall the property is stunning. Worth it just for that. Food was good. We wanted to change our fjsh order 10 min after ordering and was told the Chef said no- unusual for a place that charges $78 for black cod. The steak Diane also had a gummy texture in middle. Also unusual for a $108 steak.

Indian tandoori kingdom in Santa Barbara offers an unforgettable dining experience with its warm, attentive staff who make you feel right at home, Especially Joban. The chef’s Jaswinder Singh expertise shines through every dish, blending authentic Indian spices with a touch of creativity. The cozy and elegant ambiance creates the perfect setting for both casual meals and special occasions. Each dish offers a bursts with rich, delicious flavors.

We had the Saturday champagne brunch which was an experience not to be missed! Refined combination of flavors, accompanied by French champagne with impeccable service. The grounds are gorgeous, take a stroll!
The little cornbread was outstanding!

We have had several dinners at this restaurant, and this one was disappointing. Our reservation requested outdoor seating at the Stonehouse, but we were offered the option of an indoor dark table or the Veranda down below and not a part of the Stonehouse. The seating in the Veranda was an uncomfortable bench which was too high for the table; thus, it was impossible to place your legs under the table. The food was good, but not exceptional. The Mai Tai was the worst I have had in Santa Barbara. It had lots of ice and not much content or flavor. In the past it was much better.
First time visiting this part of California and made a point to have dinner here. It could not have been a more beautiful night to sit outside. The gardens are spectacular. Our server was fantastic the food was amazing. Do not hesitate on coming here.
