We have eaten here several times before. Always a pleasure, with excellent service and great food. My meal was excellent, but my husband said his soup's vegetables were hard, not even al dente. I didn't have any, so can't speak to that. The rest of meal and desserts were, as always fabulous and that is why we keep coming back! Plus their waitstaff are the best💕 Someone has taught them all correct service standards that are rare to find today! Great job to all🙋♀️👏👍

The food is deliciously prepared. My only complaint would be that it was a tad salty...so unnecessary considering the quality of their food and cooking. I wish restaurants would let people decide how much salt they want and put salt shakers on the table for that reason. Waking up in the middle of the night dying of thirst is not great after eating out.

They gave away our table to another group. Then had to wait another 10 minutes for a tiny table. 4 of us sat at a table for 2. Waited at least 15 minutes for our waiter to come to the table and ask for our drink order. Waited atnither 10 minutes for our drinks. A lot of waiting for drinks and food and service. When we arrived 30 minutes before our reservation we were told 7:45 which was our reservation time. No budging. A tad rude. There was a table for four being used by a party of two. Poor table management. Not impressed with food, service or ambiance. Will not be going back.

I wish I could give 10 stars! Starting with the Host - so good, so professional, perfectly dressed... made me feel like a celebrity. Wait staff provided the perfect amount of attention. They even made us a special dish not on the menu. Atmosphere- I felt like I was in my best friends kitchen but at the same time looking around the room feeling like I might not be cool enough to be here!

What made this dinner exceptional was the manager's changing our table when we expressed unhappiness with our being first seated. She did not have to do this, but did despite this being a particularly busy night. They went out of their way for us, which makes us happy to continue to support Tre Lune.
Tre Lune is my favorite restaurant in Monticito - fab waiters Diego and Chris - awesome wine list and the food is divine! The veal Scallopini was the best I have had in decades. Never a disappointment - delish pastas and risottos with seasonal truffles - as close to Italy as as u can get in California! ♥️🇮🇹♥️
