This local place hidden inside the business buildings of Monterey Park is a great, local find. Simple, yet cute decorations with positive affirmations posted everywhere—even the restroom. A tasty, modest menu, that has some Mexican and Hawaiian flavors. The cook is friendly and the breakfasts are good and generous. The staff member wearing glasses is very kind and pleasant, and radiates positive energy. This place is a pleasant, unexpected oasis where you can take a break. I'd be happy to return if I were in the area again.
The employees are very friendly and accommodating. I inquired about ordering poached eggs to which I was informed they don't do. Just a few seconds after saying no, the person who took my order offered to try to make them. He did an amazing job and they turned out great. Tasty food, excellent customer service, and friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
