Under new management or owner, secretly, since September 2024. This place is no longer the real and original Delicious Food Corner, actually. It is now part of the Tasty Spot Cafe chain with 5 other locations throughout southern California. The real and original Delicious Food Corner has already moved to the Rosemead city location (daughter of owner/founder), along with its second location in Hacienda Heights. All e-mail promotions, including buy one, get one free fried rice for March 2026, are valid for the Rosemead and Hacienda Heights location only. Please stop going to this Monterey Park location as it lacks authenticity, honesty, and transparency now, while still allowing its fake Delicious Food Corner name outside the building.

It was good, quality was gone down hill in the last few months. I'm guessing they lost a good chef. I'm noticing that there are much fewer people eating there now so I think others agree.

Wonderful choices of food here. I like the atmosphere as well. Bouncy perfect beef with udon noodles, perfectly delightful salt and pepper squid, green beans with fish filet was pretty generous, black pepper filet mignon was good as well as the fish maw, crab meat soup. Don't forget the white pepper and red vinegar. They have a nice big tub of chili oil on the table, too.

Can't beat the tea time special while it lasts. Down to $10 for egg spam sandwich plus red bean ice?! The usual wonton noodle at $14 with same drink. The regular menu is very good. Top tier at HK cafe level. Some day will make it there early for their breakfast but meanwhile late lunch is excellent choice 7 days a week.

As the name says, delicious Hong Kong-style cuisine. Beef udon in particular is super popular, and the clay pot rice, while not in a clay pot (they use a metal one) and quite basic looking, isn't bad.
Decent enough parking in a shared lot, and decor is reflective of the restaurant - moderately priced, basic, tasty.

Hk style food, hk style lack of service. But we keep coming back. We love ordering from the tea menu 2pm to 5pm daily. Has western and Asian food. The pan fried ramen, the pork with egg are both must order. I do find their dim sum a little lacking. Parking in plaza is plenty or street parking.
Black pepper udon 👌.
