This is a great spot for Chinese baked goods. Their egg tarts and Portuguese tarts are some of the best in the city. The Portuguese tarts have an egg white filling instead of the traditional egg yolk filling. Their buns are also very good! My favorite is the barbecue pork pineapple bun.
I love egg tarts — ideally not too sweet and very, very eggy. Jim’s Bakery delivers with a smooth, rich custard encompassed in a crispy exterior. It is probably pretty calorie dense, though 😅

I came late in the day so I sadly missed the egg tarts but they had plenty of po tarts which are basically milk cream custard in the tart forms. The pastry was so light and flaky with a rich and velvety filling!
I wanted a savory pastry too and asked the cashier which was their favorite, they recommended the spicy curry. This wasn't the best.It wasn't bad but it also wasn't spicy nor did...
