1/24/2026 6pm. I made a purchase but the customer service I received was bad, not friendly.

I checked one of the review from 7 years ago. Apparently this bakery don't know how to train the employee to be polite to their customer since 7 years ago. I came to this bakery and was asking some questions. Seems like I can either place an order or just go. One more question for this old female employee who can speak Mandarin will delay her time to get off.

This is hands down the best bakery in SoCal. While Sheng Kee in the Bay Area has fluffier bread and more cream (albeit maybe too much), the prices here are also extremely fair and the breads are classic Taiwanese- and Hong Kong-style offerings. They do make you pay in cash if you don’t hit $15 (which is harder than it sounds).

This isn't a sit down, there is literally nowhere to sit. It's just a bakery where you pick up your items and leave.

Kee Wah is a traditional Hong Kong style bakery with baked goods you'll probably find all over Kong Kong. Baked BBQ pork buns, curry puffs, egg tarts, as well as different types of buns filled with custard, or topped with pork floss, or the quintessential HK pineapple bun. Kee Wah also serves drinks like milk tea and lemon tea. They are also famous for their moon cakes during Mid-Autumn festival.

The bbq pork pastry is hands down the best in have eaten , and I have tried many char-siu pastries and buns in several countries over 5decades. The delightful mouthwatering salty and sweet flavors just pop out , the flakiness of the pastry was heavenly. If you plan to eat any of the eggtarts which are almost as great, have the eggtarts first, then Work your way to the bbq pork pastry. Service was pleasant and professional.

The friendly staff helped me select the perfect cake to celebrate Father's Day. All of their baked goods looked freshly made and were neatly organized.

Kee Wah Bakery in Monterey Park is known for its delicious pastries and traditional Chinese baked goods. I recently visited and was thrilled to discover that it was featured in the show "Brothers Sun." The variety of treats, from mooncakes to pineapple buns, is impressive, and everything is fresh. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting. If you're in the area, go and visit them!
