My bestie and I hadn't been in a while, so we decided to go here for brunch. We arrived a little early from the resy time but they had no problem seating us right away. We sat outside as the views are really nice. We ordered the bottomless mimosas, which all the flavors were really good. I ordered French toast and she ordered chilaquiles with steak. Both were flavorful and portion size was good. Overall, good food, good views. We will definitely be back to try the dinner menu.

I celebrated my birthday at Luminarias and had such a wonderful experience. From start to finish, the evening felt special. Our server, Evan, was absolutely spectacular. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He checked in at just the right times, made great recommendations, and kept the evening running smoothly.

We later learned that the restaurant was actually understaffed that night, which honestly surprised us because the service never felt slow or chaotic. Evan handled everything with professionalism and a great attitude, and we truly appreciated the extra effort.

The food and drinks were delicious as well, beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The whole experience made my birthday dinner feel memorable and relaxing.

Thank you to Evan and the team for such a great night. We’ll definitely be back! 🎉🍽️🥂

By far my favorite restaurant, the guac is great especially with the fresh chicharrones. The drinks are bomb, if you like a good Old Fashioned try theirs. Steaks are always perfect.

I have only experienced the banquet part of this place. I have attended many events here but my most recent attendance was a quince. I ordered a steak dinner. It was an over cooked block piece of meat. The veggies and mashed potatoes were good. There was no real sugar for our coffee. It was like we got neglected in the food area. Their appetizers were the highlight. They offered mini bite sized taquitos and mini sliders. They hall itself was private and nice. We had an enjoyable time despite the food issue. Our hall was close to the bathrooms. Parking was ample. I would most likely book an event here but the food issue must be addressed.

Unfortunately, our recent visit to Luminarias for the Valentine’s Day dinner on Saturday was extremely disappointing. We have been frequent guests at this restaurant for many years, which makes this experience even more upsetting.

My first course was the lobster bisque. When it was served, the portion appeared very sparse once the broth was poured. There was also an immediate, overwhelming fishy odor. Upon tasting it, the soup was excessively salty and had a strong, unpleasant flavor that tasted like spoiled lobster. I notified the waitress, who took the dish back to the kitchen and said she would bring another. Instead, she returned and offered avocado dip and chips as a substitution. While I appreciated the gesture, it was not comparable to the lobster bisque. When I apologized for sending the dish back, she responded with a dismissive “okay” and walked away. I did not feel that such a reaction was appropriate after politely addressing an issue with a meal I was paying for.

The second course, the crab cake and shrimp, was also disappointing. I have enjoyed this dish at your restaurant in the past, but this time it had a strong fishy smell and tasted as though the ingredients were not fresh. The shrimp were coated in an overpowering oil that made the dish inedible.

Lastly, dessert was equally underwhelming. The plate consisted of what appeared to be a small scoop of ice cream with two very tiny brownie bites. The “ice cream” did not taste like ice cream at all — it had the texture and flavor of butter mixed with powdered sugar. We have had dessert here many times before, and this was not consistent with your usual quality.

Overall, this Valentine’s Day dinner was a complete disappointment. The specially curated menu did not meet expectations, and unfortunately, the service did not help improve the experience.

We had 6 years that we had not been here. And it changed a lot. First of all the food was so expensive and so small portions. We order the grilled oysters and the oysters had nothing on it. It was a lot of salt on the plate. We also order the asada plate, we didn’t know it was a hot block and we had to cook the meat!!! Meat it was not even meat it was tiny little pieces of thin slices of the so call asada plate. Plus the smoke that came out of the meat was very strong and now our clothes smelled like smoke and my hair was very smelly too. Over all the experience was so disappointing for me especially because I took my sons for a birthday dinner and they were left with hunger and we had to order something else. And had to wait more time for the second meal. Never coming back to this place. I spent more than $300 on nothing. It was a ripoff for me and we left so annoyed with this experience. Really disappointed👎👎👎

Was there for a wedding and for the most part things were well. The audio visual team could have checked the sound.. Although that may not have been from the actual restaurant. The food was good although some of the filet mignon was medium in steady of medium rare. Once again this was for a wedding party so that is acceptable. The server staff was rushing people to eat to get plates but not picking up empty glasses. Once again this might have been because it was for a large wedding party. Overall though yes I would go back with just myself and one or a few others to get a personal feel.
