Please give us an update on when the opening will be.🙏 This is my favorite Beef Noodle Soup!

Unfortunately, this restaurant has been closed for the last couple of months due to a small fire... as what I understand. We were told it would open by the middle of February. When you call their phone number, it rings and rings and then hangs up after a few rings. A message on their answering machine giving an update would be a nice way to keep customers happy. Their website doesn't give any info either. As a loyal customer, I feel the owners should give updates as to when or If the restaurant will reopen. Disappointing for a business to do that.

Go to this restaurant right now, like right now right now. Food is bomb and the server has an amazing personality, you wont regret it.
CASH ONLY tho, just thought I'd warn you ahead of time.

Even though the place is small and they only take cash, the food was excellent. I had the vegetable dumplings and the mandarin chicken; both were good.

I don’t get why this place actually has a good rating, there’s a ton of better restaurant within 1 mile radius, plus the waiter is the worst I’ve come across in this area. 100% would not come here again.

Dedicated parking lot. Cash only. ATM inside. Although they close at 9:00 p.m. they turned people away at 8:46 p.m. so don't wait until the last minute.

The beef noodle soup is now my ultimate favorite. The noodles were thick and cooked perfectly.

The broth was so flavorful I couldn't get enough. The beef was extremely tender and next time I will get extra if allowed.

The spicy wontons were really good and spicy! The first thing I smiled was garlic and I immediately fell in love. The wontons had great flavor and one order was enough for 2 people.

In November 2024, we visited Mandarin Noodle House, a Taiwanese restaurant in Monterey Park, Los Angeles. The friendly owner greeted us with a reminder that they only accept cash.

This quaint, retro restaurant has been around for 46 years. We started with the cold appetizer, century egg tofu. The tofu was firm enough to handle easily, and the garlic soy sauce, paired with bonito flakes and century egg, offered a complex flavor profile. Fort boyfriend , the century egg’s taste, appearance, and texture were quite unique. The cucumber salad was refreshing, and the braised platter featured a variety of items, including offal, which is a must-try for those who enjoy it.

The beef noodle soup, with its combination of tendon and meat, was incredibly tender and flavorful, with a traditional Chinese herbal broth. The juicy pan-fried dumplings were also delightful, offering a homely, mild taste. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to experience authentic Taiwanese cuisine.

I ate here for the first time, and I'm so happy that I've found my goto place for hand pulled noodles. I don't even want to try other places. The food, service, and the authentic atmosphere...I hope I can repeat the same experience I had next time I visit.
