Awakened my early taste buds?
This place is lowkey and so legit. We love getting the taiwanese purple rice rolls, pork buns, and hot tea (that tea is a steal ngl). There's enough menu items you can take your time exploring, or eat some tried and trues. Everything tastes made from scratch. Prices are affordable. The servers are so sweet and kind. Like what's not to love?? The majority of customers are Chinese speaking, but we got by fine with English XD Morning Summit is always the perfect way to start your day...arguably best breakfast place in town!

First time trying this place, had diarrhea after eating jianbing here.
Found out later it’s the same owner as the Garage, which is known for unsanitary foods.

It's delicious. I highly recommend this snack bar. The portions are large and the price is cheap. The buns are all made to order and the leek boxes are also freshly made. It's very clean and the environment is good. I will go to this restaurant next time I come to La.

Two of us went in for breakfast during my visit to California around Chinese New Year.
It was busy, not really any service.
As for food: youtiao and savory soy pudding are just OK to eat, the crepe with fried chip tasted awful, it just turns you off thus we did not finish the foods we ordered.
What's worse: a couple of hours later, both of us started to have diarrheas that ran for hours. Neither of us had anything else to eat before and after the breakfast, so it's not hard to determine the cause.
Would not dare to go back.

Why is the rating so low? I have to come here every time I go back to Los Angeles. They are obviously delicious. Jingdong pancakes and soy milk fried dough sticks are my favorites. You don’t need the red bean paste buns.

This is one of the closer places I could find 肉夹馍 rou jia mo (Chinese hamburger), so I stopped by and have a try. We just came back from a trip to Xi ‘A which is the birthplace of this food. The taste was ok. They added some chopped green pepper which I don’t think the authentic version has it. The bun is also a bit more burnt compared to the authentic version. Overall not too bad but just don’t expect it’s the original version!

the food simply did not taste good. too much msg and salt. soy milk tasted stale. what made the experience worse was the owner’s kids playing and running in the restaurant, and one of the kids non-stop coughing.
