There's a reason why NBC Seafood has been in business for so many years. If you know Monterey Park and Alhambra area well, you'd see restaurants come and go so often that it would not be a surprise if you go to the same restaurant the second time and the name has been changed .NBC Seafood is a very good and authentic Cantonese food restaurant. Great place for a family gathering. Food is fantastic and quickly served. Everything seems to come out all at the same time so you'd get to enjoy everything at the same time.We had a party of 9 and we had a great time. And they always give free desserts.I highly recommend this place.
This is one of the oldest dim sum restaurants around in Monterey Park. They still have the carts being pushed around. But there were some items I used to order not show up on the carts. You can always ask them if there are any of the specific items in the back. They do have the normal fare: Egg tarts, shu mai, meat ball, Ma Lai goh, rice rolls, shrimp har gao, and more. They have some round tables with lazy Susans for larger groups. Prices had gone up as 5 people ate with a bill of about $120. You can choose your type of tea. Some options are jasmine tea, chrysanthemum. If you like to share as most items come in 4’s; ask them to cut it in half for you.

Some items on their menu were not ready. It's 10am, they didn't run out...it's just not ready. Bummer and there's many choices besides this dim sum place ?

Awesome place. Super big dim sum spot. Get in early. The crowds on the weekend make it a long wait. Definitely good food for a big group. Staff was a little inattentive but maybe it was just a super busy day? Tasty food and plenty of parking in the lot.
It's been the same forever and is consistently good and fun.

I visited this place, not Chinatown, to experience China's traditional dim sum culture, but it was far from downtown LA and the employees did not speak English. I even marked my food order first and couldn't receive it, but it took a long time to ask because the number didn't match when paying. In the end, they deducted the cost of the food, but it came out with a bad feeling. The food tasted like normal dim sum, not bad. But I don't want to visit again.

We always go here if we want to do dimsum. It's usually on a weekend, so it's always insanely busy. But that just means you know it's good! Everything is fresh and delicious, and staff have always been helpful. The large space and large amount of people is a bit overwhelming, but somehow you don't feel like you're being squished in next to others. If you want dimsum on a weekend, get there by 10 or 10:30 or you'll be waiting in line. Parking will also be kind of a nightmare if you get there any later.
Our family has been here for decades. Love the sense of community and friendly support that the staff showsI have noticed the food is become increasingly salty and MSG heavy - super thirsty after eating the meal.Kid-friendliness: Appreciate they have high chairs for kids but no related utensils or bowls/plates. Even smaller metal spoons and less breakable plates would be helpful

I go here because my family is a creature of habit. They usually go to the same rotation of restaurants, and when we do arrive at said location, they then order the same set of menu items, rarely do they ever deviate from the script.I admit the food is good, but it's not anything that would blow your mind. They have a large menu with a wide selection of items. They also have a very large and spacious interior, great for those hosting large parties or birthdays. Now what irked me to write this review was the fact that I realized they are rated B. I did not notice this before, and have suddenly felt a bit hesitant. Not only that, but our peking duck, which came with a side of steamed baos, had a very long strand of hair embedded into it. I should have took a picture... but I was just so shocked to see such a blatant strand on the stark white bun, we just called over a server immediately to address the issue. In turn, they just looked at the bun, tossed it in the trash and moved on. I was kind of shocked that they did not do anything else... They didn't even pretend to replace the baos! All in all, if you are okay with this kind of service, the food will do. But if you're looking for American quality service, don't expect it here...
