Came in for lunch today.
Disappointed with cleanliness, had to request change of utensils twice.
Couldn't finish soup-of-the-day, nor one of the dishes because they were so bad.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years… about 7 to 10 years ago something changed with the food and service it’s been declining ever since I ordered shrimp chow Main today paying around $20 bucks a plate and got something that looked like fish 🐟 bits/guts no shrimp 🦐 in it at all I was completely grossed out it smelled funny and had a weird taste I think 🤔 this is the last time I’m ever going to eat here

It’s really cheap and good value. The uncle who serves the food is really nice ( though I can’t understand his speaking mostly but I can feel his passion haha). I ordered 2 set menu and pork feet, the portion is really big and pretty delicious. Definitely worth a try if you are around the area and feeling traditional Cantonese.

Never again buy sticky rice in lotus leaf from here. How can they get it wrong for a basic food item. I bought some sticky rice displayed right on the cashier counter and thought I must struck gold because they were warm and fresh. It was only fool’s gold. The rice was wrapped facing the rough side of lotus leave instead of the smooth water repellent side, which means the mud and dust are now all over the rice I am about to eat. Yuck. If they don’t get one simple thing right, what can I say about others on the menu.

Shouldn't deserve even one star. I paid $408 for a whole roasted pig just couple days ago, and what I got seemed to be a whole pig (see picture), but except for the pig's head and four legs, it was made of the worst part (後腿肉)! It's so dishonest.

I ordered a new dish, Jiejie eel in a clay pot. After the dish was served, I found out that it was white eel, and the waiter even pretended to be stupid!

It’s expensive and not delicious. It smashed the Shenzhen BBQ sign to pieces. It’s a serious lightning hazard! ! ! It was the first time I saw Gan Quede's takeout barbecue. I ordered two pounds of barbecued pork, but they weighed two pounds of barbecued pork with ribs for me. But he took the money for roasting pork belly. When I got home, I discovered that the skin of the roasted pork was very burnt and sparse. It was all dry and woody meat. Because he shaved off the bones from the roasted meat and didn’t ask me if I wanted it, the master just took it himself. I just sat on the chair and waited without paying attention to him. I completely betrayed the trust of customers and will not go there again! ???
