Yoshinoya - Monterey Park

Your average Yoshinoya but bigger.
Lots of seats available, definitely bigger than the average fast food place.
Seat comfort is average; solid hard surface but contoured, or you can have a wood/metal chair.
The food is like any other Yoshinoya; tasty when made right.

If you don't mind thin slices of beef, the Gyudon Beef is delicious!!! The teriyaki chicken is also good but I love their beef bowls.

I told them a review that I guess they feel a little bit racist.
That is they do not know how to cook Asian food. Look at this dumpling(pot stick). It is all black(overburn). I am pretty sure they have never tried the the dumpling in pot stick version, and that is why they have made such thing.

Every time I come the tables are dirty… no one takes the times to clean them…

It's sad to see that many places are charging more and/or giving less.

That's the only complaint I have about this place. They renovated it and it looks nice, the staff taking order is nice, and the food is made fairly quickly.

They were closed for a while for renovations, I saw they’re finally open so I went to get a large bowl, but they give SO LITTLE right now, it wasn’t like that before, I felt like they probably had a new owner/manager, I will go to other Yoshinoya places in the future because other places give much more…

Don’t go to this location. I ordered a combo of fried chicken and beef. They give you only four strands of beef and 5 small pieces of fried chicken. ??

Really bad service, 3 pices of chicken on all 5 large bowls. My brown rice was very hard. My 3 Clam chowder containers wher only halfway. Cashier joshua very very poor service , looks like he didn't like his job. Bad of hearing ,the cooks backed up on orders,the only kind person was the one calling out orders,will never go there again.

3 pieces of chicken? Seriously? You ran out of chicken? Or did you try to rip-off people who don't know how to count? Or did you try to rip-off people who can't see that well? I have never seen so much chicken meat on my plate before. This place should change their name to Yoshi-No chicken!!!
