A Taste of Monterey - Wine Market & Bistro

It's a little tricky to find as it's sort of inside of a little mall-like space, but once you find it, it's delightful. Great ocean views, nice flights for some local wine tasting, and comfortable chairs to relax in. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to help if you're uncertain about the wines available or would just like some local insight. Will visit again for sure!

Check your bill. Each of our flights was mysteriously $1-2 higher than the price on the printed menu. Left a bad taste in our mouth, which is too bad because otherwise it was a nice time.

We love coming here to unwind, see the beauty of the ocean, relax, and enjoy the friendly staff. We are BIG on customer service, and this place never disappoints. The wines are lovely, and the food is always consistent. These are the reasons why we joined their wine club.(No, I am not endorsing the wine club, but the perks are too good to pass on.) Be sure to ask for their complimentary binoculars while visiting. Sea otters, seals, and whales are just a few views to look for.

Lovely view. We had two tasting flights that were delicious and generous. The hummus and pita was a nice touch.

We went here in a recommendation from a friend and I must say the view here was worth it. We ordered from the crab dip and the bacon scallops were amazing. The panini were just as delicious

This place was so nice! I will 100% be going back. The views were unmatched! I watched the otters, birds, and waves while drinking an amazing local wine. Wonderful experience, and I left with four bottles of wine!

Back home we were looking to buy a particular wine online, and this was the only place that had it available to ship. They including a postcard of their view in the package, and we were not disappointed when we visited in person! A very pleasant place to sit and watch the bay!

Dietary restrictions: "Burrata" specifically refers to the cheese that comes with this app. Super yummy but not as lactose free as you might otherwise think!

I've had the pleasure of sitting in the tasting room on 5 or 6 occasions and it is always superb. This time a visit to Monterrey was not possible so I decided to order my wines online. Happy Days! All my favorites wines from past visits are available and so I ordered on a Monday morning and they arrived Wednesday lunchtime. Whilst nothing beats sitting and then walking away with some wine, this brings a little memory of visits past and those yet to come.
