Killed a Hive & Honey Gewurztraminer & a Coastal Carnivore pizza. Just a wonderful afternoon watching the harbor seal, seal lions, & otters. Truly a Taste of Monterey! Love this casual spot to take a breath of life.
My favorite view on Cannery Row. I took my bestie here for her birthday tonight and the view was unreal, arguably the best along the whole stretch. Everyone tonight was so friendly and genuine, and the chef absolutely nailed it. The food hit the mark, and the whole night just felt natural and enjoyable. We also were told they have live music on Thursdays and Fridays, so we’re already planning to bring friends and come back for that.
I had really high expectations from Taste of Monterey, but I’m sorry to say I was quite disappointed. First, they were on manpower. Then I’m guessing the lady who served us was probably graduated from being overworked and underpaid…she snapped at us when asked about something on the menu saying, “what you see is what what you get”.
