The best place to stumble into on my birthday weekend in Monterey! The camarones al mojo de ajo absolutely hit the spot for my seafood cravings. My partner ordered the salmon which was also very nice. Service was impeccable. Perfect for a fancy night out.

Came here for my birthday dinner and I’m just sad I haven’t come sooner. Started with the chips and guacamole and I knew we were off to a good start when it was the best guacamole I’ve ever had. So fresh and delicious! Then we went ahead and ordered Cochinita Pibil tacos which my boyfriend and I order whenever we find some because it’s not often served at restaurants and it’s one of our favorites. This did not disappoint. So juicy, flavorful, and I was impressed the tortillas held up so well. While we were both stuffed, I could not resist and decided to go big. We ordered the birria and bone marrow tacos and I’m so happy we did. My goodness. Perfection. This place is a little on the pricey side and it SHOULD be. It’s worth every dollar. You can taste the quality and the passion they put in this food. These tacos are tied for my favorite tacos of all time. And we’ve had tacos in Mexico. And the guacamole? Hands down the best. No contest there. These chefs are doing the Lord’s work. And the cocktails were absolutely great as well. I will be back for sure and already raved to multiple people how good this food was.

Service was excellent! Was seated outside. An outdoor heater would have helped the experience. The food was good, a little on the sweet side. We ate birria tacos with consume and bone marrow, chicken mole enchiladas, and guacamole w/ chips.

Very stingy with their portions, asked for a little more beans, and was told would have to pny extra, the cost of beans isn't very much, and it was rude to try and charge me,v cause their serving spoons weren't that big and the beans were watered down. This was a bowl, should be on bed of lettuce, but 1/4 cup of beans, 1/4 cup of rice, a sprinkle of cheese, table spoon of sour cream, and a table spoon of guacamole. And carnitas, it didn't. Even come up half way on the container. And it was $10...it tasted good but servers attitude and unwilling to just put a little more with out charging more, needless to say having been a server for more years than she's been alive, and how many persons are going to read this and just not changing being disappointed, lose if business and not getting a tip. In my mind I'd have to say she wasn't very smart and if that's the owners instructions, I'd say go somewhere else .

Really cool experience. Great food. Got the bone marrow birria tacos, the sampler plate (had a Spanish name), and salmon. Captain of the flight crew I was here with who has 60 years traveling the United States said the salmon is in his top 5. Split the other items and they were also great. Our server Ally was attentive, kind and very knowledgeable about the menu.

We had a perfect dinner at alejandro’s. The margaritas were so tasty; we got the poblano and the guava. The octopus app was tender and flavorful, and the ceviche was delicious. I would eat their esquites by the pound, if I could. The molcajete was much larger than we anticipated, but luckily, that didn’t stop us from finishing with the pastel de coco.
Would absolutely recommend! Such a cute vibe, and Nelson provided wonderful service.

I had the fish tacos and they were great. I don't typically like fried fish tacos but these were absolutely fantastic. Every bite was amazingly crispy.
I was in a bit late and closer to close(not right before) and was greeted with a smile and got great service.
The price is pretty high, consider it high end mexican. It's good but you may find the same experience for less.

The food was okay. Got the mole and the birria and bone marrow tacos. The meat didn’t have much flavor. Nice presentation. Not worth the price though. Also got the queso which was good but lacked a bit of flavor. The sauces really made the dishes which is a bit of a bummer that they couldn’t hold their own. Cocktails are delicious though. They are doing that right. Everyone was also perfectly nice and helpful which was great. We reserved our table the morning before going. Food was $150 plus tip. I would skip next time. Rudolfos was delicious and so was the beer garden.
