Spent two nights in Monteray, love our Benihana's at home. First night, came an hour before closed, they did not serve me and the family. Decided maybe they shut down early, it happens once in a while. Next night, showed up even earlier before close. They did not serve us again. How are the doors going to be locked and service no longer accepted over an hour before closing time on a regular basis?
Carlos and Pedro were the best!!!

Went here for our anniversary. The food is usually really good. Our favorite is the rice. We always take some home. I think they were short staffed and busy, so they were a little stressed. My steak was good, but my rice was really bland.
We had reservations on mother's day! Just took 10 min of waiting. Our server was amazing our food was fresh and delish. Will definitely be coming back.
Good food, drinks, and service. Miguel is excellent ...
Their exceptional service for special events creates a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend them; although the food may appear unassuming, it is quite filling, and the staff are remarkably friendly and helpful.

We were celebrating a birthday. It was our first time. The staff was super friendly. They were able to seat our group of 9 at one table. The chef and our server were great. The food and drinks were yummy. Had numerous people inform us ahead of time that it was pricey. Glad they warned us, because...wow. They sang to our kiddo and they got a dessert and took our picture to download from their website. It was a great experience. Not sure I'll be back, but we all enjoyed it.
It was…alright. The food wasn’t bad, but for the price, I was definitely expecting more. It felt like you’re mostly paying for the name and the show, not necessarily the quality of the meal. There are definitely better hibachi spots out there that serve tastier food for a more reasonable price. Not the worst experience, but probably not somewhere I’d rush back to.
Really deliciouse food, and their cooking show is unique definitely recommend it.

We came here around lunch time. We got seated right away and felt pretty private as there was another couple there and that was it. The service was great and the show was also great to see, it was our own private show and chef. We got the combination platter the steak and shrimp and steak and scallops. The food was really good, tasty and cook well. The ambience was just right. If you want to save money go at lunch time. We will definitely be back. Very happy.
