Definetely the place to go with family for a few drink and of you're craving shrimp.... they got lots of it. Most alcoholic drinks come with a souvenir glass or shaker to take home so factor that in when you're buying a few. Great view of the ocean and if you have a Forrest Gump afficionado, they're gonna love the decorations.Kid-friendliness: You can park your stroller outside and it's safe!!!

Place used to be really fun but they changed the menu recently as well as didnt do any trivia withthe tables around or with us. We’ve eaten at several Bubba Gump locations, including this one. Our experience this time wasn’t nearly as great as in the past. The rest of family’s dishes were alright, but I ordered the Mahi Mahi & Shrimp and the fish wasn’t seasoned well and was bland in comparison to when we’ve had it in the past, the shrimp came luke warm at most and when I asked for more shrimp the shrimp they brought out was about the same temp which was disappointing (like they’d been cooked prior and had sitting under a warmer for a while). The servers didn't stop when we flipped the sign, took a good 5+ min before anyone did and both bathrooms were pretty dirty and gross. Overall weren’t very impressed this visit. I don’t normally complain, send dishes back or write reviews but felt inclined to do so this time.

Where do I begin with the complete disappointment that is Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. in Monterey, CA. We ordered Crab & Shrimp boils and the over-seasoning wasn't even the worst part. The undercooked potatoes and corn were. We couldn't stick our forks in the potatoes they were so hard. I took one bite of the corn and decided to stop before I chipped a tooth. The bartender Brendon?, refused to give change for the parking meter, but after complaining we were told a manager could. I remember years ago when they first opened it was a vibe. The movie playing and trivia was so much fun. Now, my suggestion is to take your hard earned money somewhere else.Parking: We paid $40 for the parking garage for the day because we went to the aquarium and spent the whole day on Canary Row. My parked at a meter, but it was difficult to pay with a card and we had no change (there's an app).
Modified.- We take advantage of the fact that we are in this city to have dinner in this unique place with references to the movie and food. You couldn't miss this opportunity. After spending some time in line we entered inside. Very good attention and great service Later at the exit, there is a bench and at your feet some shoes, here the photo is a must. This is a great location for a quick lunch or family dinner after going to the aquarium down the street or touring 17mile drive. It's a fun family atmosphere based on our favorite movie running star Forrest Gump, and his buddy Bubba. Fast friendly service and good food, with fantastic bay/ocean views. Parking is limited to the street, but you can usually find parking fairly easily. Don't forget to get to take your photo out front with the Forrest shoes and suitcase!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, with great kids choices on the menu. Great for a family dinner after going to the aquarium down the street!Wheelchair accessibility: This location is on the first floor at street level, making it very wheelchair accessible.
