California Pizza Kitchen at Monterey

First time here & Nothing to complain about it was great. The slice of key lime was huge very plentiful. Staff was nice & Bathrooms were clean. No wait time for us on a Monday afternoon.

Hello, I visited the restaurant because I'm a tourist and I'm staying at the hotel near the restaurant. I decided to go because there's a California Pizza Kitchen in Atlanta and the service is good, but in this location, the service is terrible and they are racist towards tourists who are not American. I went on Monday, September 15th around 8:40 pm, and I think the girl who served me was named Sophia. She handed me the food without the drinks, and when I pointed it out, she only put ice in my drink with very little juice. The food was disorganized and a mess, and I realized it was done on purpose. But I know God will punish people like that!

I recently visited California Pizza Kitchen and unfortunately had one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had. After being seated, my table was left waiting for over 45 minutes without even receiving water or having our order taken.
What made it worse was seeing our waitress, Sophia, actively serving other tables that arrived after us. Those guests not only received their drinks and food promptly, but some had nearly finished their meals by the time we were still waiting for just water. It felt frustrating and unfair to be ignored like that.
When our order was finally taken, the food itself was actually very good, which made the service even more disappointing because the kitchen clearly delivers on quality. Unfortunately, the terrible service overshadowed the meal.
I left extremely dissatisfied with the experience. Great food means nothing when the service is this neglectful. I truly hope management addresses this, because no customer should ever wait this long to be acknowledged.

Great pizzas 🍕 with best toppings

Had a great meal and our server Jose was a pleasure. Food service was quick and as always there are options for everyone as the CPK menu is huge. I would say 1/3 of the restaurant was open at lunch, so no wait. They seemed to be staffed appropriately and this was a Monday at 1pm. No complaints and only compliments. There is outdoor seating with heaters if that’s your preference.

If you're familiar with the California Pizza kitchen chain, then you already already know whether or not you like what they offer. This place is indistinguishable in that regard. And it's located near downtown Monterey, so it has that advantage. Other than that, there's no particular attraction of this specific location.

After being told we had no reservation for a group of seven, which had been made earlier, we had too wait for a table to be readied for at least 45 minutes. Once seated and tried to order there were at least two orders that couldn’t be made because they ran out of bacon. The service was average.

Love this particular CPK. They are fast and the food is great.

Waited 15 minutes after being seated and no server showed up. Ive been in restaurants just as busy as this one on a friday and was still seen by a server without that long of a wait. I just left. Expect a wait. I guess they're understaffed at this location, every time I've gone in I've waited at minimum 20 minutes for my food after ordering. Which i expect at this point but at least the server showed up those times.
