California Pizza Kitchen at Monterey

I always love stopping at California Pizza Kitchen in Monterey whenever I’m in the area. Their Hawaiian pizza is absolutely amazing—the crust is perfect, and the ingredients are always fresh and delicious. They also have a wide selection of drinks, and their pastas and salads are just as incredible.

One of my favorite things is their lunch special—pizza and a salad combo. It’s such a great deal and never disappoints. The service is truly wonderful; everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Daniella, Amelia, and the busser Juan are absolutely amazing and always make you feel right at home.

I would highly recommend California Pizza Kitchen in Monterey to anyone looking for great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. 🍕✨

I had chicken piccata and it was the best I've had in a long time. Had to ask for bread and butter but the bread was very fresh. My sister had the dynamite shrimp appetizer and she would definitely order it again. I hadn't been to California Pizza kitchen years and will definitely come back again.

Very fun place to have good food. We had a salad and an excellent spicy chipotle chicken pizza. The pizza was cold we think its because they use fresh vegetables toppings that made the pizza so delicious.

First time here & Nothing to complain about it was great. The slice of key lime was huge very plentiful. Staff was nice & Bathrooms were clean. No wait time for us on a Monday afternoon.

Hello, I visited the restaurant because I'm a tourist and I'm staying at the hotel near the restaurant. I decided to go because there's a California Pizza Kitchen in Atlanta and the service is good, but in this location, the service is terrible and they are racist towards tourists who are not American. I went on Monday, September 15th around 8:40 pm, and I think the girl who served me was named Sophia. She handed me the food without the drinks, and when I pointed it out, she only put ice in my drink with very little juice. The food was disorganized and a mess, and I realized it was done on purpose. But I know God will punish people like that!

I recently visited California Pizza Kitchen and unfortunately had one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had. After being seated, my table was left waiting for over 45 minutes without even receiving water or having our order taken.
What made it worse was seeing our waitress, Sophia, actively serving other tables that arrived after us. Those guests not only received their drinks and food promptly, but some had nearly finished their meals by the time we were still waiting for just water. It felt frustrating and unfair to be ignored like that.
When our order was finally taken, the food itself was actually very good, which made the service even more disappointing because the kitchen clearly delivers on quality. Unfortunately, the terrible service overshadowed the meal.
I left extremely dissatisfied with the experience. Great food means nothing when the service is this neglectful. I truly hope management addresses this, because no customer should ever wait this long to be acknowledged.
