RESPONSE TO OWNER FROM PREVIOUS REVIEW:
Yikes, what a response. I have worked many years in a small, locally owned, bakery and can empathize with busy weekends and things selling out. What I also know from being in that bakery was that we forecasted for larger crowds and busy days by increasing volume for those events. We also went to another business after our disappointing visit and it was fully stocked even with a line out the door.

I can own up to getting the price wrong on avo toast. All in all, we paid around $40 for 2 slices of avo toast, a cortado, and a latte. Still cold and way too pricey. We got our drinks immediately when they were called out since we were sitting at the table in front of the counter and waited over 20 minutes for them, as did the other patrons. We got up as soon as we heard our names. Almost everyone around us said the same thing, and we had small talk about it as well, but you can call me a liar.
It seems like you aren't interested in keeping customers with the response you'd given.

PREVIOUS REVIEW:
Slow service, all the pastries and most food items were sold out before 11 AM, and overpriced! The avocado toast was one of the few options left for us and cost us almost $20 per slice! It was bland and the drinks took forever to get. My latte and my husband’s cortado were cold when they made it right in front of us which I’ve never experienced with hot drinks cooling down that much. It was a cute spot but not worth the wait or money.

Mr. Review

If you want an ice coffee that comes WITHOUT ice and 99% milk (it’s absolutely no taste of coffee in there ) this is the place for you . It was a pleasure paying 10$ for a cup of milk , never again tho

An incredibly delicious spot! I popped in for the first time and was so pleasantly surprised by the flavors of the matcha latte and avocado toast. Everything tasted so fresh and almost gourmet. The atmosphere here is warm and welcoming, with staff who smile, happily answer every question, and make you feel right at home. Orders come out super quickly too, which is such a treat. If I find myself in Monterey again, I’ll definitely swing by for another sip of something delightful. They also sell little bags of beans with creative blends—of course, I couldn’t resist and picked up one called The Captain. ❤️

Such a great place to relax and enjoy your beverage and snack. The matcha wasn’t great but not horrible. The ratio of milk was a little too much. I probably should have gotten it hot.
