Just a heads up, I went in here yesterday and asked about vegan pastries as I'd seen a lot about them on here. They didn't do any. Peanut butter balls also contained honey so not vegan either.
Coffee was okay
And toasts were very simple
Location was good

Delicious lattes every time, and, every person that works there has been unfailingly kind. In both locations. Much appreciation to you!!

Solid coffee, probably the only good coffee in the Monterey/Carmel area.
Their drip is actually good, vanilla latte tasted good, & you can tell they are “third wave” here. They roast their own beans here.

Kind service staff and clean cafe. This coffee shop is quite pretty, with large open spaces, large tables, and open doors.
The coffee drinks are typical, nothing exceptional, but what was curious was the lack of a board menu. I didn't know what food and drinks they had until I got to the front of the line, which really slowed down ordering.

Got the coffee from here and waited close to 20m just to get it. I ordered a flat white and it was very bitter. The coffee tasted burnt and was near undrinkable. I also ordered a strawberry smoothie and that was amazing. I'd come back only for the smoothies.
The service was slow and it was SO crowded in there. Just not enough space, plus there parking lot is super tiny/tight. I would only go back if I was feeling and smoothie and if I was literally passing by.
Parking: Very small parking lot that's free otherwise, you'll have to park on the street a block or two away and pay for that since it's on a one way street.
Kid-friendliness: Tight space, narrow parking lot and somewhat busy with traffic. There is a baseball field across the shop you can walk to if anything.

Had a cereal bowl and mocha latte with macadamia nut milk. The cereal bowl was a nice touch as I love cereal and there are barely any places that offer it. The mocha latte was one of the best I have had in a while!

Barista was kind, patient (3 year old asking for pastry while ordering) and the place was an cozy, beach vibe oasis. Think starbucks vibes from 25 years ago but better.
