Carmel Bakery at Portola Hotel

Beautiful spot for coffee and a dessert. We tried the cannoli. It was delicious. My first time here. The gentlemen who attended us was very nice.

The literal best cafe experience in all of Monterey! Tina is AMAZING! So kind and really helps to create the magical atmosphere. The pretzel and the sauces are incredible — the best we have had! Love how local everything is too :) secret

What an unnecessary situation.Happy Thanksgiving.I understand the frustration of having to work today and multitasking at the same time. But there is no need to escalate a simple misunderstanding.The two starts were for the good pastries.I was ordering and the male cashier started doing other things at the same time, he served the items in a bag that I did not order and said that I did. The female attendant backs him on that. But I was not alone, it was my mother, my nephew, and I. We started looking at each other in disbelief.Not enough, while serving us the drinks the male attendant slammed the cups on the counter to the point of spilling the drink out.

Pastries are amazing - if I had not known, I would have said they were coming from France! Also great coffee. Staff super friendly and professional.

Great bakery

I had a pretzel with cheese that was very good. A butter croissant that was amazing. The staff was very professional. It was clean, and the vibes were immaculate. 10/10

I’ve been to Portola Hotel numerous times and I can tell you something that Carmel Bakery is an amazing addition to their portfolio ? I really enjoy their coffee and salads …. Their Artichoke Hummus is soooooooooooo delicious you MUST try it !!!!! I totally love this place!!!!! My only stop for coffee next time I’m in Monterey, California!!! I totally recommend this place!!!! WOW !!!! 5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
