Terrible food but good cocktails. Grouper was slimy, the jidori chicken was stiff, dry, overcooked. Cocktails were about the only good part of the meal. We skipped dessert based on how bad the food was.

It was cold and drafty where we were first seated, after asking for a different table the staff responded quickly and we wound up with a table in a warmer spot. The food was outstanding but we had to remind staff to serve our asparagus. Pork chop was cooked perfectly, as were the scallops. Excellent dishes

The service was amazing — really professional, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The food was excellent (though we'd love to see more vegetarian options). The wine was delicious and the server's recommendations were helpful. We look forward to our next meal at Cella.

Cella is our favorite restaurant in Monterey County. The setting, in an old adobe, is casual elegance, service is superb, cocktails are unique and special. Menu and food reflects the sensibilities of Cal Stamenov, the best chef in Monterey County. Love the wines, expertly curated to pair with Cal's food.

Wonderful food and service. The cocktails were unique and delicious too. Highly recommend! From the salad, to fish entrees to the killer crème brûlée-everything was perfect. Expensive but worth it.

I go to a lot of restaurants for work and, Cella is easily one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Never have I looked at a menu where I wanted to order every single dish - until now. Had duck confit leg and braised beef cheeks and they were absolutely incredible. Their chef Cal is extremely talented and their waitstaff was equally as great!

Of all the high-end restaurants in the Monterey/Carmel area, this is one of our absolute favorites. Everything we ordered this evening was fantastic: rack of lamb with potato gratin, rigatoni with oxtail ragu, red wine braised beef cheek, baby lettuce salad with Gruyère and a perfect vinaigrette, a beet salad, and an unbelievable crème brûlée. The cocktails and wine were also excellent.
We will definitely be back!

Excellent menu; enthusiastic and helpful staff. This was the perfect place for a quiet, celebratory dinner with me and my sister. Perfect way to treat ourselves. Also: Exceptional cocktails and desserts!

The meal was lovely from beginning to end. We had scallops, pink grouper and the pork chop, all of which were perfect and well accompanied. We had beef tartare and oysters. Bread from their bakery was great! Can't speak to desserts as we were so full. It was a lovely, delicious night, well attended by attentive, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Thanks Cella!

As usual, the food and the service were excellent... Just a little bit noisy due to all the hard services and a banquet bench was uncomfortable by the end of the meal... They do have pillows. It was just very hard otherwise I will return as it is always a great experience.

Great staff, friendly and attentive. Someone forgot to put the buffalo mozzarella in our salad, but they quickly fixed that by bringing a big beautiful ball of it out! Delicious food!
