We come to this chipotle everytime we come to Monterey. It’s never been the cleanest or had the best service, but we still love supporting because it’s one of our favorites. However this time 1/9/26 it was unbearable. We walked in around 7:45ishpm, the trash cans were stacked and overfilling with trash. The tops of the trashcan area had trash and leftover drinks. Every table had food pieces left on it, chairs at other tables, the tables along the window behind drink station to the right had bags of trash and food. We had to clean off the table ourselves as well as the other two men that were also in there. After we ordered and I sat down I went back up to get a cup water. The worker was leaned back against the counter on his phone. I stood there for about a minute and a half before he noticed me, then quickly asked me what I needed and then went back to his phone. As we were sitting there, one of the workers turned on their speaker and began blasting music. As we were trying to eat with our child. The whole atmosphere was unprofessional. I’m a die hard Chipotle fan. Where I live we get it weekly, however this establishment missed the mark for me, unfortunately it was not a good experience. I wish I would have taken pictures for evidence .

Dirtiest chipotle I have ever been too . Trash cans were overflowing, not a single clean table . I had to wipe my own table off . As we’re eating the workers in the back started blasting music over the music they have playing on the speakers . Went back up for a water cup and was ignored while they stood there on their phone

Per usual a good spot, I love their super spicy green Tabasco sauce, complements the food here really well. Too bad this time I found some plastic in my food, and it wasn’t the micro kind either. It was a big piece of plastic, but the staff was super cool, refunded me. Still good food!

Probably the worst chipotle location ever. I usually mobile order on my way home from work, and they never make the mobile orders correct, I have to always contact support. They always forget something or add something that i didn’t order. They literally wrote “out of vinaigrette” on the lid of my salad instead of just telling me when i picked it up, had to go home and see it scribbled on my food. Employees are ALWAYS standing around on their phones, the place is a mess and there’s usually one person that is actually doing something. Employees also start to close the store an hour and a half early so they’re less inclined to help you when you order in person. The store closes at 10pm, why are you packing everything up at 8:30? It just happens way too often at this location, Im no longer frequenting.

Chipotle Mexican Grill at Del Monte Center was one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. It was very crowded. Its dishes were as good as always.

I love the rice, guacamole, and chips. That is my go to. The service could be a little friendlier, but I do go during busy times. They need to give a little more attention to the dining room.

They only had one kind of meat and I think it may have been bad. Its the next day and I have explosive diarrhea!

I usually come here and some employees are bad and every time I go I see a different employee I don't know why but I hope they continue with the good ones. Because some workers r hesitate when putting food, why would I want to eat half a bowl?

Not large but good enough space to enjoy food. Some what noisy but good location,enough parking area and good food. It has strategic location on the way to big sur.

I feel bad for the poor employees that have to work at this specific location. They constantly are out of everything and apparently don't have the means to prepare it when they run out. This is absurd for a chain eatery. Chipotle should sacrifice their greed in this respect and just serve people especially now that they charge soooo much for "extras". I avoid this location at ALL cost. Ridiculous.

Staff was very accommodating of me coming in last minute and gave me extra large portions to make up for the few items they were out of that I wanted.
