I love how Chopstix Vietnamese Restaurant focuses on fresh ingredients. Every dish I’ve tried tastes homemade and carefully prepared. The vegetables are always crisp, and the meats are seasoned and cooked perfectly. I had the grilled chicken vermicelli, and it tasted light but full of flavor. That’s not easy to pull off. Places like this are rare, where fresh quality meets delicious cooking. I’m glad I found this spot, and I’ll definitely be back for more. Highly recommended for anyone looking for fresh Vietnamese cuisine in Monterey.

Chopstix has earned a spot as one of my regular lunch spots in Monterey. Their food is always consistent and flavorful, and it’s a comfortable place to sit down and relax. Whether I’m having pho, banh mi, or fresh spring rolls, I know I’ll get a meal I love. The staff recognize me now and are always cheerful and professional, which adds to the charm. I appreciate having a spot like this nearby for quick, satisfying Vietnamese meals. If you’re a local or visiting Monterey often, I highly recommend adding Chopstix to your regular restaurant rotation.

Very mediocre food - made the cheapest way possible. Tried 3 meals - all 3 were trash.

Was been on road trip for a week and sick of all burgers and steaks. Found this place on google with good reviews says best pho in town. To he honest, I was pretty disappointed. I am half Vietnamese and eat pho every week. The shop is small but clean, service is attentive and friendly, but the pho is really around average. Medium portion but the soup was bland and only warm not hot. I still give them 3 stars but I wanna leave a review for out of town customers like me: if you have had decent and authentic pho before, you may be disappointed. If you okay with something mediocre, then this might be okay for you

The customer service at Chopstix Vietnamese Restaurant is simply fantastic. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel like family. They greeted me warmly, seated me quickly, and checked in just the right amount throughout my meal. The waitress even gave me recommendations based on what I told her I liked, which led me to try their stir-fried noodles—amazing! I always appreciate staff who care about making your experience pleasant. With service this good, paired with excellent Vietnamese food, it’s easy to see why Chopstix is getting so many great reviews. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Food is decent but had asked for some lemon slices and they charged us $0.25 per lemon slice. Most restaurants do not charge and they did not let us know about this charge. I thought this was super tacky since we ordered an entree and drink each, in addition to our waters. We have never gone back to this place since.

Chopstix Vietnamese Restaurant blew me away with the quality of their food. I ordered the grilled pork vermicelli bowl, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and full of flavor, and the fresh herbs made every bite refreshing. You can tell that everything is prepared with care, from the perfectly cooked noodles to the fresh veggies. I love finding places where the food speaks for itself, and Chopstix delivers. If you’re searching for authentic Vietnamese cuisine in Monterey, this place should be at the top of your list. I can’t wait to come back and try their pho next time!

This restaurant is always my favorite whenever I visit town. The Shaken Beef is truly outstanding — cooked to perfection, seasoned just right, and bursting with flavor. I love the fried rice and pho too, with their rich, authentic taste and thoughtful preparation. I recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food and a friendly, welcoming place to dine.
