A party of 10-12 (rehearsal night??) was seated in the main dining room with the other customers. They yelled, screamed, chanted, etc. so loud that our party of 29, seated at three takes, was unable to converse with anyone except the person immediately to their right or left. The staff allowed them to continue through the entire dinner, never addressing the concern. Using a phone decibel meter, they frequently pushed 100 dbl.

We hosted our welcome cocktails at Cibo the night before our wedding. It was truly the EASIEST of all events to organize. Michelle and Mario were helpful and attentive to make sure they knew what we were hoping for. The drinks and apps are excellent! I would move the food table more towards the bar only because I didnāt want to bother other people eating at the restaurant, but our area at the bar was perfect! It was the right size to accommodate more guests than we anticipated. The bar staff were friendly and nice as well- great customer service! We canāt wait to come back.
Beautiful restaurant as well as delicious food everything on the menu was delicious. The whole company was very happy.

All the BS in Monterey's nightlife stems from this venue. Stabbings, killings and disturbances all thru out this year and last. On top of that the music is bad and outdated. The restaurant is elite, but the club is a negative marker on the city and ultimately not safe or a place that grown reputable locals hang out at regularly. It's a 21-30 crowd, not stylish or suave. Hoodies and jeans there is no standard beyond the bouncers personal preference. Bouncers aren't reputable locals either,it's a bad scene. The owners probably don't understand what goes on when they shut the kitchen down and go to sleep sadly.

I attended an event the night of April 20th 2024. Throughout the night I had ordered a total of 5 drinks from the bar but when I went to close my tab there were 7 on the receipt. When I informed the bartender she said she would have to have the manager refund me. The manager then informed me she would have to look at the cameras due to the fact that the bartender who had been serving me had already went home and could not confirm the mistake. After and hour and a half of waiting; all while being told the entire time by the staff but mainly security that I was ridiculous, they wanted to go home and to just pay my tab because they couldnāt leave until the issue was resolved, the manager came back and could only show me 5 videos of 5 drinks she had taken on her phone. I then asked again for her to refund me for the additional drinks I was charged. She refused saying that she wasnāt going to go and review anymore video, she didnāt have to prove anything to me and they needed to shut down and that I can either pay the entire tab and or take the $40 and donāt come back. I understand the right to refuse service but at this point I am being refused entry and service for asking a manager to do her job in resolving a mistake that was made, and when she couldnāt prove me wrong she resorted to banning me.
