Don’t let the low star rating stop you from enjoying the best food in the area, appetizers are amazing and the food and drinks are top notch. Yes it’s pricey, but so is everything else in the area!!! My wife had the crab special and I had the ribeye, BEST food we have had in 5 days! I would like to add that Jeffrey was a great server and made sure we enjoyed our dinner.

First the food was very salty and over rated for the price.

Secondly I was placed in a booth filled with flies next to the window it felt very disgusting especially since they decorate very fancy. My food was constantly being surrounded by flies.

Third, the host outside was very pleasant but once I was inside the attitudes change, idk if the waiters were being judgy because I came alone or what but I felt disrespected by the waiter reminding me how much the sparkling bottle costs. Never going back

Friday night not as many customers and wait for service was slow and was not worth $300+ for salty food could not finish my meal I paid over $40 for. For what its worth go else where unless you like extra salty food and extremely high prices.

This place is a total tourist trap! Wicked expensive for food that was decent but nothing to write home about. The kicker? For groups of six or more, they automatically tack on gratuity — fine, whatever — but then they give you separate receipts that also suggest tipping again… based on the entire bill, tax, and the gratuity they already charged! Pretty sure they’re making a killing off that little trick, so heads up before you dine here.

Crabby Jim's is a very nice little place on the warf. It is the only place we found coconut shrimp. That is my wife's favorite. Very nice views of the harbor.

Crabby Jim’s is a must-visit on the Old Fisherman’s Wharf. The clam chowder is legendary, and adding crabmeat in a bread bowl with the garlic top makes it extra extravagant. The fish is always fresh and seasoned beautifully.

For those who are not seafood fans, there are plenty of other options like burgers and steak that are equally delicious. The views from the restaurant are stunning, and the service is excellent, making the whole experience even better.

A perfect spot for amazing food, warm hospitality, and unbeatable scenery.

Food was horrible flavorless the scampi taste like water noodles. My husband‘s cioppino tasted very fishy and spoiled not a good experience at all.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel this one is necessary to help others manage expectations.

The calamari portion was extremely disappointing—over 80% was just heads and tentacles with very few rings. When I asked our waiter “C” about it, she casually replied, “Oh, it’s been like that for months, it’s to save on cost… but they’re my favorite.” That was unsettling to hear, especially since we were paying a premium price for what were essentially small fried squid heads that tasted more like chicken nuggets than calamari.

The scallops were another letdown—overcooked, chewy, and lacking the light, buttery texture that properly prepared scallops should have. The snapper was at least cooked well, but it was bland and desperately needed seasoning and salt.

To be fair, the service was great—our server was attentive and friendly—but that couldn’t make up for the food quality and portion “shrinkage.” Overall, Crabby Jim’s felt overpriced and underwhelming.

On top of that we waited to get our receipt but nothing was provided.
If you’re looking for better seafood on the Wharf, I’d recommend waiting a little longer for a table at Domenico’s or Old Fisherman’s Wharf instead. Unfortunately, Crabby Jim’s just isn’t worth it.

Crab was old and extremely over cooked. Overcooked so much that you could not even pull a whole piece of crab on the claw or any part of the lake. It was stringy and dry. For $60 a pound way overrated. Staff judged you by the way they thought you were going to tip. If they thought they were getting a good tip you had good service. The first 2 cups of tea we got were so watered down. It looked like yellow water. No tea flavor whatsoever had to ask twice to have them bring more tea poor service all the way around

Decently sized restaurant ln the middle of the touristic Wharf. So higher priced and smaller portions were expected. All in all the service was very good and the food, too. The Mac‘n‘Cheese burger was yummy, even though not cooked medium. The mussels portion was way too small, tasted very good though. It‘s a good spot to eat and they do have Margarita Happy Hour all day 🍹
