Urban Kitchen Hospitality was such a pleasure to work with. Rene and his team did an amazing job on a catered event for 350 people. They are professional, very customer friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend Urban Kitchen Hospitality for your next event. Bree Osborne, Marketing Manager - City of Santee, CA
Hosted my rehearsal dinner here. We planned for 30 guest, but went over. Mr. Rene was so helpful in accommodating us! Food was delicious and the staff were very helpful! We all had a good time!
Urban kitchen did an amazing job catering our big day. Their communication and professionalism added to the success of our event. No matter what was going on Rene was easy to get a hold of and worked tirelessly throughout the entire evening from setting up to tearing down. We had many guests complement the catering. I would highly recommend urban kitchen to anyone having an event with catering.
In addition to being a great place for an event they were very easy to work with while keeping us within our budget and keeping our large group happy! Highly recommend!! Semper Fi!!
Renee and the staff at Urban Kitchen were delightful, prepared and on top of all the details. Delivery was quick and easy. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it! Thank you for a great evening!
Nice food and service
I like the eclectic musicians vibe that brings in everyone from all the other local bars.
We hired Urban Kitchen Catering & Events for a corporate group of 90 ppl traveling from all over Europe to Monterey. They were so amazing from start to end. Rene, Bethany with staff was wonderful to work with and created a very special experience for the group. The food was also spot on! We will definitely work with them again. /Mice Coordinator at Go West Tours
Great service! Worked out perfectly for my race team while at Laguna Seca.
I am highly disappointed with Urban Kitchen. I made reservations for my staff of 12 for a holiday luncheon on December 21st. I spoke to the restaurant two times to confirm. Imagine my surprise when we showed up, and the restaurant was CLOSED!! I didn't receive a phone call before or a phone call after with an apology. The manager of the Red Lion Hotel (right next door to Urban Kitchen) arrived at the restaurant to have lunch and saw all of us standing there. He called one of the restaurant owners and was told they weren't opening. I am shocked by the level of unprofessionalism. Thankfully, I called Alvarado Street Brewery in Monterey and told them Urban Kitchen had stood us up, and they told us they would be happy to accommodate us. Thumbs down for Urban Kitchen.
A locals hidden gem. We had lunch.. Good food at affordable prices. They baked rather than fried a rockfish entree at our request. The Artichoke Enchilda is a unique and tasty dish. Salad Bar getting better. Full bar with modest beer and wine selection and cocktails. Needs to expand dessert selection. Easy parking in contrast to nearby Del Monte Center. Close to Hwy 1. Specializes in dinner shows. A gre at addition to Monterey restaurants. Hope the keep on changing and improving.
The restaurant is situated in a hotel. The staff was friendly but could not get our orders right. They did not get our drink orders correct either. The food was good but nothing to write home about. They did have a salad bar that was good which is not that common nowadays so did enjoy that. For me it is a one and done event.
Karaoke Saturday nights is a blast! Such a cool and unique venue. Loved the random manequin
It's a nice little hideaway place. Friendly atmosphere, great food, and the live music is plus!
Since I live here I only go there for the music on Thursday through Saturday, prices are great, munchies are good, nice mix of locals and visitors too.
