Wow!!! I've been wanting to try this place and finally!!! Never had tacos this refreshing! The shrimp taco was just bursting in flavor!! It was exceptionally delish, i could have eaten 6 of those easy!!! The ingredients they use seem to be really fresh!! Hubby ordered fish taco and it was equally amazing as well!!

Totally surprised by the amazingly good flavors, quality ingredients, warm service, and product freshness. If you like Mexican food, then you will love the comforting dishes here. The atmosphere is casual; however, the food is first class.

If I joined a cult for tacos this would be it. Super savory food, delicious margaritas, and a laid-back environment await. A little pricey but there is still value there. They pipe in interesting & fun surf shack music to boot!

Incredible tacos, sauces and service. I just ate here for my first time today and now I will be a regular! Outdoor seating during covid restrictions are perfect!

Their meat is so perfectly seasoned! You might get a more authentic taco elsewhere, but I doubt you could find a tastier taco anywhere. This place is perfect. The food is incredible and the vibe is really relaxed and classy. I like to take people from out of town here when they come to Monterey to visit. I love the tinga and the carne asada - they are perfectly seasoned and sauced and just *chefs kiss*. But its a struggle to decide what to get because the fish tacos are also perfectly seasoned and cooked and the crema sause on them is incredible! Outdoor seating is good for covid, or if its a particularly nice day it's always nice to grab some burritos and then go picnic in front of the

Now this is the taste of home I've been looking for. When I moved to Monterey I had been searching for the perfect taco and I finally found it. A little pricey, but worth it.

Heard pretty great things about this spot..I went over to try it out yesterday (wednesday). Appears that they are currently not open, as of most establishments during this pandemic. I will have an updated review when it opens back up!

This places is amazing! Not many people, they have outdoor seating, and the food was better than expected! The prices are great and the quality of the food is spectacular. Didn't know what to expect but I liked it better than I thought. I highly recommend this place!

I'm a fan of this place! They are part of the Cultura family (from Carmel), but this is their fast casual spot instead of a full service restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious. The plaintain and shrimp tacos were both freshly fired when I ordered (both good) and BF loved his carne asada burrito. Price isn't bad for the quality of the food. Definitely would return!

Did a taco tour while traveling Monterey and went to a bunch of places trying all their fish tacos. Ran in the door 5 minutes before closing and the sweet girls made me tacos anyways. Let me tell you these were the best tacos by far. Great customer service and amazing tacos. Their taco sauce is drinkable Sooo good!

Vibes are so awesome here. The art is what drew me in. I actually wanted to try this place before Rona ruined everything. Finally made it out today! Walked in with my mask of course... that's required to dine in here and they also have hand sanitizer available which I appreciated a lot! Staff was very hygienic and cleaned the tables after each customer! Overall this made me feel safe and healthy!Ordered two carne asada tacos, one fish and one shrimp taco. The tacos were delicious and had homemade tortillas (I think). I could tell there was high quality ingredients! My shrimp was juicy and fresh. Loved the green sauce. Only downside is that the tacos are very small and only come with one tortilla. For four dollars a taco, I felt like it lacked authenticity. The coke was also $3 which I felt was a bit overpriced as well. With tip, for two people, it comes out to be almost $30 for four tacos and a coke. Makes it hard to justify coming back but but I still appreciate the vibes and cleanliness.
