I love this restaurant so its unfortunate that I have to leave a negative review for them. Between this location and Marina I have been dining at Dametra for four years. The food is tasty, but there are two major issues. One, they always short change mobile orders in comparison to in-person orders. By that I mean, if you order in-person you get hearty portions of fresher food. When you place a mobile order they skimp on meat, and frequently give you burned food. The more signicant issue is I have now, for the second time, received an entree with a staple in it! One time is forgivable, kitchens are hectic and a mistake can be made, but TWICE? That is serious quality control that can cause a major health issue. Please fix these issues, or risk losing a longtime customer. We have Nick the Greek here now, I'll have to give them a shot soon.

We did a DoorDash order and it arrived on time. There are lots of Gluten Free options if you have a special diet. Unfortunately, our salad arrived without the dressing we ordered and the falafel balls were so over fried they would barely cut with a knife and were very dry. The hummus was good, but the baba ganoush was not. All in all, we would probably not eat here again, at least not delivery, where we can't easily rectify missing items or get more sauce options for overly dry food.

I just love Dametra and have eaten here quite a few times. The other day I was out running errands and realized I was hungry and wanted something healthy and flavorful. I was near Del Monte Shopping Center so I decided to stop in to Dametra for a Toss It (salad) with delicious falafel and one of their refreshing mint teas. That day they were only able to take cash for some reason and I could tell they were ready to get yelled at but it was not a problem for me and since I work in customer service I understand how much harder that makes their job. My salad was absolutely delicious and the falafel always hits the spot. I love the dressing and always get a side of lemon herb dressing and tzatziki to compliment the meal. I also love the quinoa tabouli and spanikopita. The baba ganoush is a little too smokey for my liking but the hummus is also a winner. They also have baklava for desert.Vegetarian options: Falafel and fries, hummus, baba ganoush and several sides too.Parking: Shopping Center parking lot so if you are looking for a spot during busy times it might be a little bit of a trek but not unreasonable.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and since they are in a shopping center it's pretty chill if you have kiddos.Wheelchair accessibility: Shopping Center parking lot and the restaurant is on the smaller side but they have room for wheelchairs and outdoor seating too.
I ordered a salad to go. The cashier overcharged me for 2 drinks and the staff rushed me out when I tried correcting the order because there was a line behind me. Plus the salad was bland and dry.

if it were not for the food, I would never come to the Del monte shopping center location. Good help is very hard to find. For some reason the woman that I keep being served by the last few times, I visited seems to be very unhappy with her employment or just has zero personality. a few times ago, she yawned without covering over my food, that bothered me very much. I felt I had inconvenienced her having been sitting at a table, working on her computer to have to get up and help me. I say thank you, she says nothing positive. I hope this place gets some better front customer service staff.

Great quick causal alternative to the DT Carmel location. It's nice to come here for lunch with kids if you want the deliciousness that is Dametra but more of a take out experience.

Stopped by with my family for dinner before heading to the movies. For those who haven't been by before it's like heading to Subway but with Mediterranean food. The person who made my wrap knew that I couldn't decide what to put in the wrap so she decided for me. Despite her choosing for me, she still checked in with me making sure that I could handle certain ingredients.The wrap was great and you can tell how fresh the ingredients were. Though when I opened the foil my wrap was stuck to it and it got ripped open. My lil sister loved her platter as this was her first time trying out this place.The place is rather small so not much indoor seating if you come with a group bigger than four since there was only two tables to fit groups of four. It was a clean and tidy atmosphere that was welcoming as you walked in the door.

I went to Dametra the other day with a gift card I received as an early Christmas present. The food, as always, was de-lish!! but in addition I was treated to fantastic service. A very caring and kind and attentive Abriana made the whole experience so nice. Wow, I left feeling so connected, appreciated. Abriana is a gem! I look forward to coming back, and maybe I'll give friends Dametra gift cards next Christmas.
