DO NOT COME HERE. The person didn’t use gloves to prepare the sandwich. Also, the sandwich was just a dry bread.. he just poured shrimp and crab that had been sitting there for a while. Worst food ever.

food is cheap. the only positive. but i wouldnt come back. i ordered the shrimp n crab sandwhich and that was thee saddest looking sandwhich i have had in a loong time. wanted to go to crabby jims, but missed lunch so i tried dockside. i was sadly disappointed in myself for staying and ordering the food. server was on the phone, said hello to a group in front of me, and proceeded to stay on phone while they left. i did not get a greeting from server as he was still on the phone. i spoke up and said what i wanted, he eventually got off the phone and right before he started to make my sandwhich, he had a bit of a coughing attack. i didn't watch but hoped he had washed hands. when it came to pay it was 9 something if using cash or 11 something with card, by this point i just wanted to leave so paid by card. stopped in castroville on the way home and enjoyed phils fish market, and alexandras tostilocos, i highly reccomend!!

The owner is really rude and impolite. He serves you without patience and with reluctance. To top it off, we paid $26 for two crab sandwiches that were bad. We have become ill as a result. Awful. So that they close the beach bar.

Hostess at the entrance was totally rude with us. They make clear with a banner at the entrance that little children are not welcomed, but there are manners first and she doesn’t have any. Very very rude.

We enjoyed the mini black pearl platter, it was plenty for a family of four and €200 plus tip. It was great fun trying to extract every last bit our teenage kids loved it. We enjoyed a window seat so looked out over the harbour. The platter included Clam Chowder, King Crab, Snow Crab, Dungeness Crab, Lobster, Jumbo Prawns, mini prawns, clams and mussels.

The oysters and crabs are very delicious! They're so good we went back for 3 consecutive days in a room. Can't wait to go back!

3 different choices for kids, my daughter chose a tasty burger. My other daughter went for the salmon poke bowl, which was tasty but small. I had shrimps as appetizer and red snapper Cajun Style as main course. Both were okay, but not more.

We were there around noon and they were out of everything except shrimp sandwiches so we ordered 3. They were one of the most terrible and disgusting things we have ever eaten. The shrimp were so soggy and water logged, they were like biting into a wet dish sponge. The bread turned to mush because of all the water. My niece bit in to hers and water ran down her chin. I could tell they were frozen shrimp that were just microwaved. We each ate bite and threw our sandwiches out. Complete waste of $35. This place doesn't even deserve one star but Yelp made me give them one.

Went in for lunch , great atmosphere in the restaurant, staff were very friendly, clam chowder was the best we’ve had , a must visit.

Spectacular service and food. Luis V was a superb and attentive waiter. We devoured the mini black pearl platter. Presentation was as good as the taste. Highly recommend this place.

Got the bread bowl with clam chowder. Bread is terrible/old and not fresh. Clam chowder was all potatoes and almost no clams. The guy behind the counter was really nice though.

Last night, I watched as the owner/manager dumped a ton of half and half into the chowder pot and then continued to serve the thinnest chowder I have ever seen. With high hopes it would be ok, I found that it tasted so strong of clam juice and all the chunks of whatever was in it were all crunchy. I couldn't even finish a small cup of it, because it was turning my stomach. That was easily the worst chowder I have ever had. The kids had small Costco corn dogs for $5 each, but they liked those. I have some serious food safety concerns with this hole in the wall.
