After many restaurants with American or Mexican food, we were excited about this restaurant with Greek cuisine 🫶

Ambience:
The restaurant is on a side street so it is quiet. The restaurant has seven or eight tables for two or four people.
The walls are decorated with Greek pictures or murals. The room extends openly upwards and you can see the open beams.
You hardly notice anything about the kitchen, which is located at the back.

Service:
The employee was always very friendly and gave enough information about the dishes or was often at the table to ask for further requests.
Unfortunately our menu was not updated, so a meal on the bill was more expensive than stated. The drinks were also not listed - neither the selection nor the prices.

Food + Drink:
Visually, the food (gyros platter and Greek salad with falafel) looked very appealing and fresh and it also tasted good - both dishes, but with one drawback:
Unfortunately, the tzatziki was without garlic, there was a lack of Mediterranean spices and the meat on the gyros plate was not gyros but kebab meat.
If you're looking forward to a gyro plate and get something else, that's a shame.
Unfortunately, this dish was not authentic and in this sense cannot be recommended.
If you don't know the difference between gyros and kebab, you can still order.
There was also a glass of white wine and a small beer (approx. 250ml). Tastes good but just incredibly expensive.
In the end the beer was ~13USD and the wine was ~14USD.
I know that alcohol costs more in the US than in Europe, but the prices were higher than in Las Vegas or any other big city. It was the most expensive beer during my 4 week trip in the USA.

After the final bill, I knew why drinks weren't listed on the menu.

My conclusion is a nice 3 out of 5 stars,
because expensive and ultimately not authentic.

Excellent food and service. Our server recommended the Taskebab (sautéed pork in spicy tomato sauce), and she was spot on. First time I ever had it and would definitely order it again. My coworkers enjoyed everything they ordered as well.

I came at about 7:30 pm. It wasn't too crowded. I ordered lamb shank. The lamb shank came with rice, beans, vegetables, and a delicious tomato sauce. Later, I ordered the baklava for dessert, and it was amazing. One of the best baklavas I've ever had! The atmosphere was charming, with Greek art on the walls and Greek music playing in the background. One last thing I'd like to mention is that the serving portion, at least that of a lamb shank, might be a little big for some people, but it was just right for me.

For the money, quite disappointing. The sand dabs were supposed to be pan seared but were instead heavily floured and fried. Not sure they were sand dabs. The dolmadakia were fine. The spanakopita dinner was good. We waited over 45 minutes for our food and the restaurant was not that busy. Nothing was terrible, but we paid a lot of money for just an ok dinner.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT. It is a scam at worst, and terrible customer service at best!

I was in town for business and called to place a simple order (Greek salad) for pickup. No one answers the phone, but the message directs you to a website. I ordered and paid, but then didn't hear any confirmation so I walked over to check. I was greeted by an EXTREMELY rude woman who informs me that they know the sites dont work, and that there is nothing she can do and all I can do is wait to talk to the owner tomorrow (which doesn't work for me). I explained it was a very simple order and I already paid and she said the cooks were too busy for this.

Luckily, the website reached out and told me that they can refund my money so the restaurant won't get it. But I'm still out a meal and a lot of time, and so I'm writing this to warn others away from this place!
