Six of us dined at Abslonrtti for a celebration lunch. The food (fish & chips, shrimp & chips, calamari tacos, and clam chowder) was delicious! The service was fantastic! I will definitely dine there again, and again.
We recently visit Northern California. We ate at 7 restaurants. Five were outstanding or excellent. Abalonetti was by far the worst. Neither food nor service we at an acceptable level
Food was bland, cocktail was horrible (sent back for wine), and service was poor. Server did not check on us between getting drinks and getting food and did not check on us after getting food once. When we were finished, the busser brought a box out and we waited 10 min to see server again to pay. It was not busy whatsoever - we will not return.
My reservation was not honored. I received confirmation notices via OpenTable and responded to them. When I arrived after a round of golf, there was a wedding party in the restaurant. My wife and her friend arrived right on time, but we all had to leave and find another place to eat. The staff seemed surprised that we had a reservation.
Came early on a busy Daturday. The food and service was fantastic. Sat outside and ambiance was lovely. Watched the seals playing the bay while enjoying fish and chips!
Loved the abalone! The flash fried calamari was cooked to perfection and the waiter was one of the best in customer service!
Delicious calamari and seafood. On the Wharf with views of the ocean. Quick service and customer attention.
It's in a tourist area so I knew this wouldn't be amazing but I was pretty disappointed when the wrong entree showed up. The caprese salad was actually good and the dungeoness crab was also as expected. They did remove the incorrect entree from the bill but it was still a disappointing meal. Great view of the water but bring a jacket if you want to sit outside.
The food was not good at all! The calamari was rubbery and some of it I had to spit out because it didn't seem to be cooked enough. It was terrible. The garlic mashed potatoes were the best thing, but the portion was tiny. The clam chowder did NOT taste like clam chowder and had a weird chemical taste. Very disappointed as we had to go get something else to eat after this meal was done. We had to ask for our check three times and the waiter only came by once during the whole meal. If I am going to be charged $4.50 for a small glass of soda, I would like it refilled at least once!!! Very disappointing experience, won't be returning or recommending.
Kid friendly. Good food overall. Oysters were very good. Service was friendly and quick. We made a reservation for a larger party and they served us promptly.

Not fresh fish. Nasty frozen fries. No decent sitting area. 15 minutes for ketchup refill lol. Sad to see a business in such an amazing place do so bad and charge too much for their poor food and service.

We ordered fish and chips and clams chowder. The fish is very fresh and the chips are very flavorful. The clam chowders are very good as well. Very happy experience.

I brought out-of-town guests to Abalonetti's. They were impressed with both the menu and the food they ordered. One guest said the lobster ravioli was the best she's ever had. I'd agree--I had it too. Service was fast and not at all intrusive. We loved the pidgeons that occasionally walked through. I'll keep bringing visitors here!
Unfortunately the best I can say is meh. Everyone else's food was just ok, but my pizza bordered on bad, and pizza is hard to mess up. Feeling a little sick to my stomach now to be honest. Nice view.
