Paying for the brand... it's expensive. Back in the day (eye roll), everyone would be greeted at the front door with a piece of Ghirardelli chocolate for free. I guess not anymore :( I had a coupon for a free piece, but left it at home. Understandably, they wouldn't honor my word. The ice cream of course was delicious! We didn't have to wait long for our order. Also, I like them using sustainable spoons.

Very beautiful shop indeed. Perchance they could have a regular milk chocolate bar? I don't understand why there are 50 different types of chocolate but not a single milk chocolate bar for sale here. Like I don't want a raspberry dark chocolate bar, I don't want a roasted hazelnut bar. I want a REGULAR MILK CHOCOLATE BAR. Otherwise this place is awesome lots of different things to choose from. Like the 20 dollar banana split, or the 18 dollar milkshakes. Anyways I'll still give it three stars based off of cleanliness and design, but please, please, for gods sake sell regular milk chocolate bars.

To my opinion, the food is too sweet, I took the banana split. The amount of the ice cream was very good. There was too much cream to my opinion, and less fudge…. It was very good and comfort desert.

Ghirardelli store magically appeared on my walk back to my car. It's my birthday and treated myself to a sweet treat. No cake this year, but, I got me some delicious ice cream! I'm not even upset! I was wide eyed like a kid in a candy store! :D After I arrived to place my order/paid, I was given a buzzer that buzzes when my order was ready. I don't think I waited more than 3-5 minutes off my sweet treat. It wasn't super busy. It is a small shop, and the few people that were already there was mostly sitting outside with the ocean views or indoors. I sat outside (there was no one outside when I arrived) and sat by a heat lamp. Ahhhhh, pure bliss!! My treat of choice: Ocean Beach w/ milk chocolate (ice cream w/ hot fudge, sea salt, caramel sauce, milk chocolate Ghirardelli chocolate square, whip cream...am I forgetting something? LOL) It was good and really rich from all that yummy fudge!! It was oddly filling for a small cup, I wasn't able to eat it all.

Very delicious desserts here! Stopped in last night to get a couple sundaes. Portions were huge for us, we probably could have shared. Place was clean and I liked the outdoor seating area with the heat lamps. Service was fast and friendly.
