Woody’s At The Airport

Nice spot to grab a bite and watch the planes.

Great place to grab a bite to eat before or after your flight. Food is fresh and the views are spectacular.

We finally got a chance to try this restaurant after hearing so much about it. The food is mediocre at best. I had the prime rib which you can tell is made from low quality meat. I was asked if wanted it medium cooked, but it came out overcooked. It looked brown. The salads had nothing special. I guess not bad for an airport restaurant but definitely not where I want to eat again. I can simply didn’t get the Woody for this meal, it was limp!! 😂

We have been flying in & out of Monterey Airport the past 5 years for CaliRoots Festival on Memorial Day weekends & Wednesday May 28th was our first time eating there & it is a great spot /great food/good service.

Good food (could be served warmer), very quick service, excellent service, average prices, nice to park in short term lot and get validated parking for free when less than 2 hr stay.

I had the calamari and brownie, and everything was absolutely delicious. The brownie, in particular, was warm and soft—it really hit the spot. The service over the phone was also exceptional, so a big shoutout to the gentleman who took my order!

My wife had a flight out of Monterey today. We had extra time, so we decided to have breakfast here. We usually had decent experiences here before. Today's experience was the worst I had ever had. My English muffin wasn't toasted and didn't have any butter. The ketchup was empty and after waiting for several minutes for our server to come back, I just walked across the restaurant and grabbed another bottle from an empty table. My wife ordered a turkey club. It had no mayo or any other condiments on it, so it was extremely dry. Still no waitress. I asked the bus boy if we could get some mayo. It took about 10 minutes before anybody brought some. We'll probably stop elsewhere for breakfast on our next trip.

This place is the BEST! Our go to place every weekend. We have had the pancakes, chilaquiles, egg Benedict and more and every dish has been 100% and the coffee is delicious. You can sit outside they have heaters and you can’t beat the view, airplanes taking off. Service is great too.

Chef Tim and his team do a fantastic job. Especially for being an airport in a restaurant, you can’t ask for anything better than local dishes and amazingly priced cocktails. Even when I’m not traveling, it’s a great spot to go to! And a bonus to be able to watch the planes takeoff. It’s a local favorite for a reason, and the Sandabs are fantastic!

I’ve never encountered such RUDENESS in any restaurant, especially here in Monterey, where everyone is typically so welcoming.

The middle-aged woman who greeted us was particularly unpleasant and made us feel unwelcome from the moment we stepped in.
In my entire life, I’ve never experienced anything like this.

We didn’t even get the chance to enjoy a meal—we only had coffee because of how uncomfortable we felt. When I asked for a cup to take my coffee to go, she placed it on the table with a LOUD, DISMISSIVE THUD. I couldn’t believe it.

Even if a Michelin-starred chef were to work here, I would never return as long as she remains.

I hope no one else has to go through an experience like this.

Prices are highway robbery. Don't buy anything.

Best airport food you will get anywhere. I spent some time here during a flight delay and the staff were kind and service was great. The Ahi Tuna Salad is a winner!
