Restaurant needs a good cleaning... maybe it was the bar smell, but it took me awhile to not notice it.... I ordered from the special menu and I got the surf n turf meal which was $7.00 more... we all ate what we got cause we were hungry... Parking ticket supposedly was validated, but wouldn't work upon our exit, so I had to pay $12.00 for parking...?? It's always good to try a new place and find out first hand. Now I know...

2/8/24 6pm. Ordered Fish n Chips with rice pilaf, coleslaw and accompanied with cocktail n tartar sauce. $26 Brewed Ice Tea $2.75Every item was made perfectly balanced with ingreatience. A clean fresh taste that you should expect and no over powering flavors that linger after taste.The server Noe L attentive to assure all was satisfactory.I'll be back to try their 14 oz. Rib eye steak. $44Parking: Parking is expensive 1 hour $6.Don't forget to ask to validate parking ticket.

When an airport restaurant is packed with locals you might start thinking you've found Nirvana. Well this is one of those not so secret secrets-- a full bar, full service restaurant to enjoy either traveling or doing a staycation treat. I had lunch with a friend today and was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was-- greeted upon arrival, shown to my table, given menus and served water immediately. With a big smile the server asked me if I was being joined today-- I said ,yes, and she asked if she could be on the lookout for my guest. Good, presumptive thinking in her part. Impressed. As an aside I read some of the earlier reviews and was surprised anyone had those poor experiences, I absolutely believe them though because we all know inconsistent service and food can kill a restaurant, I'm glad not to have had those experiences here, Today we were fortunate to have a Top Gun experience-- F15's doing take offs-- the noise was deafening! And fun. Could have been F18's-- I did not see Tom Cruise. Woodys doesn't skimp on portion AB's today quality was A1. To be fair the top part of the restaurant was filled with a 40 person banquet going on when I arrived. So when seated I thought we'd be here a while waiting for our food. Not so, after ordering we got fish and chips and Turkey sandwich plates. Generous portion and high quality. Onion rings light, some crunch, not oily or soggy. Fish perfect. Turkey was super. Pics below. About the airport- it's being rebuilt in a location across from the existing structure. It's a cozy, leave it to Beaver kind of airport where you can get here 20 minutes before your flight and not have to rush to catch your plane. I hope they don't screw that up. Oh, and you can park about 30 feet away from baggage claim and just walk in. No 2 mile walk through corridors of boring cement to reach your gate. Ha! Time marches on. Go.

Great place great service and excellent views of planes and small jets taking off and landing . Our server Luis gave us excellent table service . Apart from the planes food was 10/10 no complaints! Steak bites were excellent super tender !, Definitely be back with some locals , and yes they validate parking ! Compliments to the chef
well another restaurant bites the dust … i’m a “local” and this place was one of my favorites … until today ? what i ordered was something i’ve had several times before but this time it was awful … the salad was even more ridiculous and before i had my bad lunch i had also ordered dinner to go which i just threw in the garbage … i’m so disappointed … guess the newly opened branch of this place has gotten the owner’s attention and he took his good kitchen people with him … so bummed out

Epic "Special" tonight. Woody's captured some of the Central Coast's best foraged mushrooms...yummmm! Delicious chanterelles with wide ribbon pasta, LOCAL FRESH! Chef Tim & team are serving up an exceptional fare, local & delicious as you can get. I am a Scandinavian who was born & raised foraging mushrooms. Tonight's dish hit all the marks. If you are local, enjoy! If you are flying through...enjoy while you are at MRY & keep coming back!

While you wait for your flight that's on time.......or delayed, Woody's is the only place to dine in the very small Monterey airport. It's a modernized version of Cheers with tv's for games of all sorts. The service is great from start to finish. I enjoyed the wings (flats only) and the truffle fries (could've used a little more truffle)l, yet still yummy). Noe, was my server and he was great! Enjoy!

I typically don't do this but since I keep getting the runaround when I call I hope this catches attention! I feel the need to speak. I came in for breakfast and the service was excellent. Food was great, my waiter was very attentive. That was until the manager Chris ruined my experience. The way he treated the staff and yelled at my waiter for no apparent reason was unprofessional behavior. After asking my waiter if he was ok, I was hoping for an apology from the manager but instead received one from my waiter. They clearly need to hire new management. Someone who values their employees. Not mistreats them. No work environment should be allowed to treat staff the way he did. Unacceptable behavior.

This is not your typical airport restaurant. The food is really really good. The service is always stellar and while the building is older the location on the runway makes it a lot of fun to watch planes come and go. My wife says she had the best risotto of her life here. My fish tacos were darn good. And my daughter’s pasta was amazing. We will be back even when we aren’t flying!Parking: Free parking if you get your ticket validated at the restaurant.
