Gloria the owner was such a breath of fresh air in the world today! Her restaurant feels like a cozy welcoming home.

The gyro sandwiches were so delicious. I highly recommend the hummus/babaganoush 10/10!!! Turkish coffee was a unique experience. We also enjoyed a fun game of mancala!

One of the best stops we’ve made in Monterey! Food was so good, Gloria made us feel at home and was so warm to us. The “Shutdown Meal Deal” is a steal of a price for a pair. Love their community oriented attitude towards their service, we’ll absolutely be back each time we’re in Monterey!

Clean, friendly and the food was really tasty. I had a falafel (house made, not dry with nice seasoning) with fries that were fresh. I would come back for a casual bite. I’d like to try their Turkish coffee and the beautiful Turkish delight I spied in the case next time.

Just ordered chicken shawarma wrap and falafel wrap to go. Terrible. The staff are very nice but they don't know how to make chicken shawarma or falafels. I also tasted their beef shawarma. I mentioned to them that the seasoning was non-existent and they said that was because it wasn't dipped in the drippings which they did after my sample but didn't offer another sample. I'm fairly certain it would not have made a real difference.

Exceptional Experience at International Café

From start to finish, the service was outstanding—the ladies were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and informative about the menu. I had the beef shawarma, and it was absolutely amazing: tender, perfectly seasoned, and served with fresh, flavorful accompaniments. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making the whole meal even more enjoyable. Great value, attentive staff, and a memorable dining experience. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and great vibes. 5 stars!

Great shawarma and lamb gyro. Plates come with really good hummus, pickles and hot pita. Baklava was great, too

Fantastic service, very low priced for high quality treats and coffee. Clean establishment. Nice well maintained restrooms. The parking out front is free 90 minute parking a few feet from the door. I will be back soon.

Food was great and atmosphere was very nice. First time here and it was a 5/5 right off the bat. Had the beef & lamb gyro plate and everything was delicious will come back again for sure! They also had Dubai Pistachio Chocolate & their Turkish Coffee was amazing. Great restaurant very welcoming and cozy.

Delicious food, casual, reasonably priced, and quick! I had the lamb and beef gyro plate and it was perfect. The salad it came with was very fresh and well sized. The tzatziki was fantastic. The pita bread was soft and chewy. Delightful. Will definitely come back!
