Although not as popular as it was in the beginning- the restaurants cleanliness and food standards remain very high.
The prices are very reasonable for families.

This is a cool little stop off at the mall. The previous replies though, no...the beer is airport prices. Just came for 2 beers and it was $28. So not that great on prices. The staff was on point though.

Had a great experience. Food was great, Luke our server was awesome. His attentiveness, attitude, and humor made this a great way to celebrate my son's birthday. The whole team from kitchen to busser, hosts, and manager were exceptional. Thank you!!!

I come to Islands often and have always had a great experience! As someone with a very sensitive gluten allergy, eating out can feel risky. On my first visit, Jess and Natalie showed care and concern for my dietary needs like I’d never experienced elsewhere. My go-to are the nachos and I know everytime Jess and Natalie will make sure it’s prepared safely.

Islands in Monterey is my favorite place. Natalie and Jess our the best. As a regular they take care of me by having my Mr. Pip and water ready to go when I arrive, my sports on and provide a welcoming environment. I highly recommend this place.

Jess and Natalie make such a great team behind the bar—service is always smooth, fast, and fun when they’re working together. The vibe is welcoming, the drinks are on point, and you can really tell the staff cares about creating a good experience. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for good drinks, great food, and even better service!

Awesome eatery and great location! The menu is put together well and is light on the wallet. If you want quick delicious meals in the area...Islands has a table for you. Great deals also at happy hour !

Ordered tiki tenders, Malibu (bacon burger, add fried egg), and Sandpiper (grilled chicken sandwich). All of the food was good but not particularly spectacular and not really worth the price of $18 for each sandwich and $15 for the tenders. For drinks, I tried both the agua frescas and they were both very refreshing and enjoyable if you are into that sort of thing.
Service was good enough except they don't really hand out napkins unless you explicitly ask and the waiter happens to be carrying napkins. The place does have a nice surf vibe with a bar and all the seats are well cushioned.
