The food was just okay. Service from the staff was still acceptable but the male manager was slightly rude and acted annoyed when taking our order. For that price point, your money is better well spent on the Denny’s down the road or the cafe beside them. Not recommended and do not trust the reviews they are from family/friends.
The beef pineapple rice it was okay. The Tom yum soup was not spicy or sour enough. The noodles was decent too. Overall not very authentic but a good gateway to Thai food if you have never tried it before.

Food was okay, but they added on a 20% service charge for our group of 3 with no disclosure, and the final receipt still had a line for gratuity. Felt very dishonest and scammy as we were tourists and clearly not from the area. Menu stated that 20% was only applied for large groups of 5 and above.
My family and I had an amazing visit to this Thai restaurant in Monterey on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and seated right away. The staff brought menus quickly and asked if we wanted something to drink. Our drinks arrived fast even though the place was busy.
The service stood out. We received individual attention that made us feel welcome and seen. Our server knew the menu well and answered every question with confidence. They understood that we wanted to share our meals and they handled it with ease. We ordered three dishes and an appetizer and they brought everything out with additional plates so we can sample from each plate.
The entire staff was professional and courteous. The ambience was warm and welcoming.

We ordered mango sticky rice. The coconut milk it was served with was spoiled. When we called to inform them they said it was fine and maybe our taste was what’s wrong. A quick google search can tell you salty coconut milk means it is spoiled. They were incredibly rude and the food we got was inedible. Do NOT go here. Try Thai village in Carmel Valley Village for good Thai food and good service.
We ordered the mango sticky rice to go. The coconut milk was spoiled and salty and the mango had gone bad. When we called they were very rude and denied everything. DO NOT get the mango sticky rice. Also again the way we were treated when we called to inform them the coconut milk was spoiled was horrible. Very rude and with complete disregard. Go to Thai village in Carmel valley village if you want good food and service.

We were part of a group, but arrived late, nearer their closing time. Most in our group were finishing their meal, but the Krua Thai played the perfect hosts, and quickly served the extra dishes we asked for.
The red curry with prawns was done to perfection, and to top it all, they agreed to give us ice cream on top of the dessert already on the table. A sweet ending to a very nice meal.
Thank you, Krua Thai.

Popped in here for food as we were staying in the hotel opposite. The Thai lady was very friendly and her customer services skills were great. We found the food the taste really authentic and also loved the Thai iced coffee.

The Italian guy at the restaurant is incredibly rude. We asked for a table for 9 and he shoved a restaurant policy menu in my face and said “First read this and tell me if you are ok with it”. It was a standard policy of 20% service charge for a large group, etc which we were totally fine with - but the aggressive attitude was not ok!
His first excuse was that he’s Italian and that “that’s how he talks”, his second was that he’s had problems with “people like you coming in large parties and only ordering 3 dishes”. We had 9 hungry people ready to eat but took our business elsewhere.
For what it’s worth, his wait staff was lovely and warm. Too bad that their hard work is overshadowed by this guy’s terrible service.

This is our go to spot for Thai food on the Monterey Peninsula. Fresh food, family run business and absolutely delicious. Duck Noodle soup is to die for.
