Popped in here for food as we were staying in the hotel opposite. The Thai lady was very friendly and her customer services skills were great. We found the food the taste really authentic and also loved the Thai iced coffee.

The Italian guy at the restaurant is incredibly rude. We asked for a table for 9 and he shoved a restaurant policy menu in my face and said “First read this and tell me if you are ok with it”. It was a standard policy of 20% service charge for a large group, etc which we were totally fine with - but the aggressive attitude was not ok!
His first excuse was that he’s Italian and that “that’s how he talks”, his second was that he’s had problems with “people like you coming in large parties and only ordering 3 dishes”. We had 9 hungry people ready to eat but took our business elsewhere.
For what it’s worth, his wait staff was lovely and warm. Too bad that their hard work is overshadowed by this guy’s terrible service.

This is our go to spot for Thai food on the Monterey Peninsula. Fresh food, family run business and absolutely delicious. Duck Noodle soup is to die for.

Went there for the very first time and all the stuffs are so nice and welcoming. They even go out of their way to make some special dish for us.
Every single dish we ordered is 10 out of 10.
The owner even came to greet us by themselves which is very nice of them.
Their severs are very nice and attentive.
If you are happen to be in the area and craving for some thai food krua thai is ur best bet.

I had the pleasure of eating here for lunch. The hostess made us feel very welcome. She had the warmth and kindness of a grandmother, with a genuine smile that set the tone for the entire experience

Our waiter was wonderful but the manager/owner is an incredibly rude person. All you have to do is look at how he answers other low reviews to see he is a jerk and has absolutely no regard for customer service. Food was fine and the portions were good, but again its hard to enjoy with the rude manager.

The owner/man who was in charge makes you feel bad if you choose not to order anything but would like to still be present with your family. It’s like we were taking up table space in the almost-empty restaurant and denying them the space for potential customers who never walked in the door. They are the equivalent of the Seinfeld Soup Natzi.

This place sucks! We were rudely moved to the back corner by the manager because one of our party wasn’t ordering a meal. Rude as hell in my opinion. Actually have never seen such a thing. Will never return!

Absolutely phenomenal Thai food and warmest hospitality in Carmel!
We had the best Khow Soi here, rich, flavorful, and truly unforgettable. Every dish we ordered was spot on, with incredible taste and presentation. The food quality was top-notch, and the service made it even better. The chef is clearly talented, and the owner was so warm and accommodating, happily adjusting to all our special requests with a smile.
It’s rare to find a place that nails both food and service so perfectly. We had such a great time, we’re still talking about it! I would 100% recommend this spot to anyone and everyone visiting Carmel. It’s a must-try!

Visited May 12 with my girlfriend—ordered satay, curry and fried rice, only to find a 20% “service fee” tacked on with zero disclosure. Manager was dismissive and avoided eye contact. Feels deceptive—won’t be back.

Visited this restaurant for lunch, and the service was exceptional. We had to go almost at the closing time, but they were kind enough to cook and serve us. The food was amazing and everyone in our group loved it. The ambiance of the place is very calm with soothing music. As in every other place in California, the parking was difficult near this restaurant; we had to look for some street parking a few streets down.
