Every time we come to this place the quality of the food and service just remains top-notch. It might just be my new fav in town. I've mainly had burgers here but I can't wait to try some other tasty choices. I appreciate the consistency guys! Thanks ;)
My family and I were staying in the Monterey/carmel area for a few days and this is one of our dinner stops. I made reservations for 7pm on a Monday night. We arrived early (6:45) without expectations of getting seated early-but just to be on time given there was 8 of us. I understand that accommodating a large group is challenging but I did make reservations for 6 adults and 2 kids. There were people waiting to be seated when we arrived and the restaurant was completely packed (there were a variety of group sizes and a bar that seated 8-10) so we all waited outside and my wife waited for someone to help us. We eventually got seated at 7:30. The restaurant still had plenty of customers but was emptying out now. Once the wait was over, service was great. Food was good and plentiful (menu had lots of options which included seafood, burgers, pizza, pasta, etc). The gratuity was included in the bill (no surprise since this is usual for a large table). Not sure if they were short staffed or what, but it seemed disorganized and a little chaotic-hopefully it was a fluke. Overall decent experience, food and service was good. I'd try it again if we visit the area-maybe just 2 or 4 people.

If you go order Maddie's Roasted Duck Pizza. Unbelievably Decadent. Casual atmosphere, with something for everyone. But seriously get the pizza.

Great place to eat. A little high end but the food was awesome. We all had our own meals but we all shared the duck pizza. It was really good. Wasn't expecting the sweetness and the duck to click good together. Service was great. Would love to go back.

Loved dining here. Best food we had on our trip and very friendly service. My wife had a blacken Mahi sandwich and I got a few apps during their happy hour. All fantastic and couldn't recommend the place more.
Such a great place to have dinner! Whether it is outside or in! All the food was deliciously cooked to perfection (although some things were way too dry). Beware about sitting close to the door! It doesn't close on it's own, so if it's cold outside, I hope you brought jackets for when that one person doesn't notice the door needs closing after they walk in.
We had the Black & Blue burger, and the blackened chicken with bacon and shallots pizza. Both were amazing. Sorry we forgot to take pics. They are also the first place we've seen BrewDog NA beers. For the non-drinkers, this is amazing. See picture.

Automatic 1 star review for choosing to steal 3.5% from your guests for using a card. We spent $100 to be customers. We tip well, we work in the industry, in the area. Neither place we work have this terrible, grimy ass policy. Glad you could steal 3.5% from us , now we will never return. Good business decision.. hope there are more like us in the area that won't put up with this bullshit

When you go out to eat dinner, you don't want to hear girls talking about their own body parts.... Our server was a blonde and very full of herself. Someone remind her that if your box is that good, you shouldn't have to hoot and holler about it. The service is horrible, food is violently awful and so cold inside!!! She messed up our order but we didn't even say anything because what's the point! We'd get another plate of disgusting food? Owner sits at the bar while restaurant crumbles before his eyes. Decor is all over the place. Soda is even flat. Don't bother here!

I hope it was just an off night for them because it was horrible. The Tavern Burger had a really bad aftertaste and you could tell the tater-tots were cooked in the same oil that they fried the fish in. The potato skins were burnt and I mean really burnt, and for some reason they felt that techno dance club music should be the soundtrack for the evening. My wife and I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I will say that our waitress was super nice and the service was good, but I don’t think we’ll be going back anytime soon or at all.
