We arrived an hour before our reservation time and were seated right away. Much appreciated.
So bummed! we've gone to Montrio for years but i don't like the new chef at all. Had a hard time finding something that sounded good from menu. I feel like the chef is trying to mix too many flavors together to seem fancy but the combinations didn't got together. We tried pork chops and beef burgundy. our meal was super expensive and neither of us liked it. So bummed this was our go to place when in town.Service was great though, every one was personable and nice but food not good.
The food was amazing, each bite carefully created to have your pallet enjoy a very complex and complementary savory taste. The plating was also artistically pleasing to the eyes.
Waiter was attentive and offered suggestions. Risotto, scallops and crab cakes were delicious.
Made reservation under my daughter's name. Service and ambience were excellent. Food was ok.

I looooved this restaurant. It's not cheap but is well worth the money if you want excellent and interesting food. We shared the house salad (so many stars), crab cakes and the duck confit (which was 2 thighs and drumsticks). I can't wait to come back.

Great food and service. It did not disappoint. The house salad and the crab cakes were great.
The salmon was perfectly cooked, I had the short rib which was delish, very tender. Great food, great atmosphere. Definitely worth the money. The service was 5star
Our main course, the duck confit, was served hot & delicious. The mashed potatoes were warm-to-cool. Not appealing. Our server completely forgot our appetizer of the porcini pommes frites, which is why our rating of the wait staff was not the best.
Unfortunately this place didn’t meet expectations for the price, I didn’t enjoy my steak while the crab cakes were good, everything that came after was underwhelming. Not sure how this restaurant ended up on the Michelin guide website.

I was pretty thrown off by this one. Good atmosphere and service, but my $75 dollar steak had a massive grey band and was really disappointing. The potatoes were far too firm and undercooked and the risotto was bland. I really wanted this place to be awesome, but it wasn't. The duck confit was properly cooked, but under seasoned.
For perspective, we were so underwhelmed by our 200 dinner that we went to a brewery down the street and grabbed a burger and a beer. They salvaged our first kid free night in weeks. Cheers.

I ordered the scallops. They were perfectly cooked and delicious. My wife ordered the lobster bisque. It was okay. Not very flavorful.
Service was attractive except for serving the bisque without a spoon. Had to flag a waiter to get the spoon. Overall however, I would go back.
