Absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE! We are from So Cal, but anytime we are passing by Norther California we stop by this place! Very unique, generous Nachos! staff is great! restaurant is clean. It just hits the spot!

The best burrito bowl I have had. Beats chipotle by a mile. The best thingb is that each item is make with flavor and seasoned. The rice that is the base was so delicious I could eat that on it's own. Great job and I'm glad this independent business has much better food than a national chain

Oh. My. God. The nachos they have here are incredible!! I would say, despite these being their creations, these were some of the best nachos we have ever had!! Both the chicken and steak were seasoned well and tender. They were extremely tasty; and for the price, they give you A LOT of food!!!! Excellent food quality! The mac n cheese was just okay, but you’re not going here for the mac n cheese; you go here for the nachos!! And for nachos, these are absolutely great!!!! If you like nachos, you should absolutely give them a shot!!!!

This place is under new ownership, the person wearing the hijab at the cash register was not friendly at all and the food made us incredibly sick. We ordered exactly what we did last year. Except this time the carne asada was extremely fatty and full of cartilage, quite possibly guinea pig meat. They do not sell beer or any alcohol anymore either. We will never go here again.
*********Nov 2023 Review********** The sweet woman who helped me was great! Ordered a beer, there were only 2 left & they weren't in the refrigerator...so she comped me a free beer! Straight to a man's heart ❤ The food was ready when it said it would be after placing the order online. Some of best nachos I've ever had- seriously! Not a single soggy chip at the bottom and LOADED with carne asada. Also got a carne asada burrito for the next day (Im not picky about whether its hot or cold or saved for leftovers like some are). Delicious cold too!!! Definitely going back next time I go to Monterey...even if that means a couple extra hours of cardio & weights?

Used to love this place, the food used to be fantastic. New management came in and the food is horrible. The flavor is overpowering and the cheese was all at the bottom so I felt like I wasn't really eating nachos. The staff was extremely nice, jist sad that I won't be able to get good food anymore.

If your goal is copious amounts of fairly decent grub at a reasonable price then this place is for you. It's not spectacular but the serving size is generous. The burritos are gigantic Chipotle could learn a thing or two from these guys. The Nachos are unique and even the regular size is more than enough. The hella sized nachos are easily enough for two or even three people to share. The meat (I got the asada) was a bit under seasoned, but the Spanish rice that comes with it is very well done.
