I just wanted to thank the people at Oh! Sushi at the Monterey location for their great service and great food! Sorry to see them go from that spot.

We ate here as it was within walking distance from our motel. Tables were spaced out. The rolls were excellent. Good prices. The Oyster app was large and fresh. Friendly staff. Not to many people on a fairly early Sat. night. Veg Tempura was very good and crunchy. Needed less sweet potato and more onion.

The BEST place for sushi, I never go anywhere else anymore as I've been been disappointed with other sushi restaurants in the area. The staff is friendly and the sushi is always amazing. The pacific, golden tiger, and philly crunch are our go-to rolls. The interior and vibe could definitely be improved on, but a small sacrifice for the quality to price ratio.

Me and my bf were staying in Monterey for the weekend and decided to try this place out; the service was good, but the food was terrible. The fish was slimy and tasted bad and there was a hair in one of the rolls. Not to mention the chicken Katsu my partner got was cut like bacon strips and way too thin. Would not recommend this place

Located at the Travelodge, don't drive by, go inside. Fresh, tasty, well presented, quality sushi. Excellent service. The vibe is very casual but the food is good.

We have dined at Oh! Sushi for years and have always enjoyed the experience. Last week, we stopped by this time to get dinner to go. At home, we simply sat down, relaxed and dined. We had delicious Gyoza and Miso Soup for starters. I had Chicken Teriyaki and Shrimp Combo and Vegetable Tempura which combined wonderful flavors. My husband had excellent Tuna Sashimi and the Dinner Combo of Chicken and Salmon Terikyaki. Their salads as part of the Combo were terrific, too. We had a Sapporo Beer and also a tasty Nigori Unfiltered Saki. Everything was excellent and the owners are very nice. The location is great, right off of Highway One in Monterey, with ample parking. We highly recommend it!

Oh! "No" sushi. Fish was super fishy tasting. Waiter was nice and on it but fresh fish and getting fish twice a week i think not i have eaten at many sushi places all over from Frisco to San Diego to Detroit and many places in between. I don't think for one second the fish here is fresh at all. They did take care of it tho that's why they get 2 instead of one star here.Parking: Parking is great since it's located at a hotel.

Fabulous Sushi and sashimi. Great attention to detail and enthusiasm for the food from the owner. As a lone diner I can’t fault this eatery. Best Sushi I have had in California!

Amazing sushi and great vibes from the staff. The sushi specials are to die for, diver scallops and the mango roll were my favorites. Unassuming location but was delighted by the quality of the food and service.

Yes 5 real stars for the sushi joint attached to the Travelodge in Monterey. Their fish is incredible, rice is perfect, and I was the schmucjk who asked for full sodium soy sauce when the Green Label would have been more appropriate. It is owned/run by "A Vvery Experienced" Japanese couple, and that explained why it was soooo amazing when all my red flags were going up. Also they are the room service for Travelodge. And my partner reports it was amazing next day leftover when her stomach was upset. It cured her*. It made my 4 year old estate eating raw fish. Go. Have your miracle. * Not a medical recommendation.

Clean and tasteful decor that you wouldn’t expect in a motel connected restaurant. I have passed this place for years, now with remorse. Service is fast and engaging. Prices have risen since the menu was printed and some rolls have increased by $5. Sashimi was fresh and tasty and the protein role was also good. Never a big fan of a TV above the sushi bar… but at least the sound was muted. Worth a visit.

The sashimi was well presented with a no-rice protein tool kicker. Fast and engaging waiter. Clean and appealing Asian interior.

We’re from out of town and we stumbled across this place. We had dinner to celebrate my son’s 9th bday and every item we ordered was delicious! Service was great. Our server did inform us that our food would take some time due to the 2-person staff in the kitchen but we were not in a hurry at all. We like to enjoy our time to socialize. We ordered the edamame to start off with and it was salted perfectly. We then ordered the chicken teriyaki entree which is served on a sizzling plate. My son was impressed and excited about it. My daughter had the udon with tempura veggie and the dish was delicious as well. For rolls and we tried the Golden CA, Crunch roll, Baked Salmon roll and the California Roll as well. We enjoyed all of them! Lastly, the prices were awesome for a dinner spot. I know we’ll be back when we’re in town!

Most underrated sushi spot in Monterey! As a local, this is the best spot to be. Best quality, great prices, easy parking, fast service, wonderful family owned business. This is always my go-to sushi spot. They also have platters for families! My favorite rolls are 3 amigo roll, crunch, sunrise, spicy tuna, and spicy california. The cherry on the top--- the spicy edamame!!! Best one i've had in Monterey!
