Every time I order a burrito it's mostly lettuce. What's the point of $16 burrito if it's mostly lettuce. If you're ok eating a salad wrapped in a tortilla then it's decent.

Living overseas I've missed good Mexican food. I was very pleased with the Super Burrito that I ordered. Everything was pretty delicious, from the rice to the beans to the grilled chicken. The only thing that I wasn't too crazy about was the salsa that was included inside, it didn't really have a taste to me. Plus, the whole burrito became a little too wet and mushy. I appreciated the fork, but I don't want to eat a burrito with a fork--it's like eating sushi with a spoon.
Service was wonderful. The guys working there are really nice, patient, and helpful. If I visit CA again, and find myself in Monterey, I'll definitely pay a visit.

i purchase a asada burrito .instead i got a rice burrito with a hint of asada . food was plane no flavor. service was as dry as my hint of asada meat. think also over price 2 burritos and one agua fresca 44$ . the place was clean. they just need to get it together. i expect it more do to the location

Ate breakfast here and loved it. Homemade tortillas were so good. We split a breakfast burrito and wanted corn and flour tortillas which he so kindly supplied. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and delicious. Free chips and salsa. Staff was amazing. Highly recommend!

Well on are road trip was feelin like some Mexican food spotted this place papa chano's in Monterey Bay ordered a asada burrito bean only homemade tortillas homemade bean also ordered 1 taco de alpastor delicious they have different heat ranges on there homemade salsa 😋 my wife order a flauta plate with rice beans she enjoyed it .nice place to try if you're ever out in Monterey Bay owners are so friendly helpful

Stopped by for lunch here with my lady and the food was very delicious. The staff are all very friendly and kind. They have a chip and salsa bar which is a plus because you get to choose how much you want to eat and the chips are freshly cooked. If you're in the area, this place is a definite must to stop in and grab a bite to eat. We'll definitely be back here in the future. Thank you Papa Chano's.
