The baked wings here are so good! The pizza was perfect as the crust was not too thin or thick. Just the right amount of cheese too. The restaurant is small but the staff are helpful and explain what you are ordering. It is a great take out place but very cute if you want to dine in. I would highly recommended.

We came in for 2 slices of pepperoni and 2 slices of the combo on 3/27/2024 and got a full pizza. (Thank you so much! Really made my night) It was really fresh, hot, and delicious. Service here was fast and friendly. They offer so much more than pizza! They have ribs, wings, and calzones! Definitely check them out if yall are in the area! 10/10

Came in to get a slice of pizza on my way back to the Bay Area. The guy working was super nice, pizza came with in a few minutes and a slice is only $3.50, which actually was two slices not 1! Was it the best pizza I’ve ever had, no. But it was damn good! Fresh ingredients, great crust and super warm. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in Monterey area!

The pizza was fine but don’t order a calzone and expect a calzone. I ordered two calzones only to get two half pizzas with an inch of crust folded onto the sides of the outside pieces. That’s not a calzone. That’s just half a pizza. Also, if you don’t like lots of sauce, this probably isn’t the place for you. Again it was fine pizza but just not what I wanted.

I'm personally a fan of crispy crust pizzas, and despite the pizza crust here being thin and doughy, I thoroughly enjoyed it. They did not skip on the cheese at all, the marinara with the breadsticks was second to none, and it was surprisingly inexpensive for what you get. Feels very hole-in-the-wall, but in a good way. The service was also wonderful, respectful, and quick. Loved it.

We decided to try Pelican Pizza because it had gotten so many good reviews. Oy, what a huge mistake that was. We got a 14" "Most Wanted" pizza and paid $27 (expensive). OMG. It was the WORST pizza I have ever eaten. The crust had the texture of stacked, spongy cardboard and it had NO flavor. Did the cook forget to season the dough??? It was the worst pizza crust ever. The toppings were barely tolerable. I'm usually not a picky customer, but this pizza was truly horrible. How does Pelican Pizza stay in business?? I will NOT be coming back.

Had a slice (was actually two pieces) today at Pelican and it was delicious! Crispy crust with soft inside, good amount of cheese and perfectly cooked pepperoni on top. It was also a good value. Plus, the guy working the counter (Keith/owner?) was really friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely come again and recommend to others!
The pizza is very tasty, the crust is the right balance between chewy and crisp, the toppings are fresh, and it was all served warm. The Hawaiian masterpiece was amazing and the price won't break the bank.

Solid pizza joint. Excellent price! This is the best pizza I have had since moving to Monterey. For your standard pizza, it's excellent. Not soggy, not greasy, not overcooked. Basic pizza done right.
