Used to go to Pico de Gallo periodically, great food and prices. However, went yesterday and the place is completely closed down. Sign is still up, but nothing inside and the classic/exotic car dealer nextdoor is using all the parking spaces. Looks like it's done for...very sad!
Pico is my wife's and my favorite taqueria in Monterey. The flautas plate and macho burrito are each a solid order.
This was one of my favorite restaurants in the area before we left. The carne asada fries are my favorite here, and the macho burrito is a huge feast. However, you can also substitute the meal on the fries, and we got some al pastor on the fries one time which was also amazing. Shrimp taco and burrito are also particularly good. Unfortunately they do not have horchata or other drinks, and I think it would be really nice if they did. The food more than makes up for it though. This is definitely a meal that you have to lie down a bit to digest after you eat.
I get to eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I must say the service is always good and they keep the place well kept regularly. Rates are convenient and they serve sizeable portions.
This place is one that we will definitely coming back to pretty often. If you need a good, fat burrito, then this is the place to go.The shrimp house burrito was particularly good. The pieces of shrimp were larger than I was expecting and were cooked to perfection. I highly suggest it.
This place is great! We came in because it was one of the only places in town open, and the service was fast, clean, and friendly. Our food was delicious and piping hot, all for a super reasonable price.
I came based off reviews but noticed now that most of them are from 2019. The place was overpriced for the quality of the food. My husband had a chimichanga which tasted the best but also gave him a stomachache. The four of us all had stomachaches after eating the food. My father had enchiladas which weren't bad. However, my mom's burrito was huge but tasted bad. The beans were not the classic refried beans. My chicken flautas were horrible. I've made better flautas in my own house. The chicken was hard and seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. The tortilla chips tasted good but were also very greasy. Reviews were misleading and I would not recommend this to anyone.
Great simple service, good food. Clean meats and plentiful!
Their burritos are delicious and huge! Best chicken burrito in town 10/10. Their taco plate is also really good, the beans and rice remind me of home. It's hard for me not to eat here at least once a week. Green salsa it's a must!
Get the flautas and fresh margaritas

Huge burrito, chips were fire, and their hot sauce was awesome.
Got the macho burrito and it was fantastic. Good portions, very tasty, plus a mostly full menu even in covid and pretty quick service. Definitely would recommend!
Delicious tacos! Will go again and try other dishes.
