An average pizza parlor in a mall. Nice decor, ample seating, comprehensive pizza menu, and offers gluten free pizza crust.
Average amount of topping but will add additional if any toppings for modest charge. If you are a fan of DF fresh pizza sauce this is your place. If you like pizza sauce that has been cooked a long time and caramelized, this is not. In California the freshly made sauce appears to be more popular. Both are good, it is personal preference.

Got a 18 inch Big Surf and shared with my husband. Just gonna tell you rn, I sound like a hater. I usually like “Brooklyn” style thin crust, deep dish, and just your average crust pizza. I understand they use a stone oven. I just don’t like black, semi burnt crust. Too crunchy, with a smoking burnt flavor. I also feel the tomato sauce wasn’t there… they don’t put much sauce at all. I imagine they use a brush and just sweep it over the Pizza. This place definitely reminded...

We visit Monterey frequently to see family. Pizza My Heart has become a required stop, especially when we saw the awesome T-shirt and pizza slice deal!
